Local rumours that it was a gas explosion in a Polish shop and one or several dead. Looks grim.

Schools want to forget teaching crap and concentrate on teaching people to film on their phones using the correct orientation.

If it is an attack by jihadists it will be the first time that they have detonated a bomb in a branch of Londis.

Why do you jump to the conclusion that it's terrorist related. Why can't it just be a gas explosion ?

Looks like gas to me, I read the store has only been open a few weeks so something could have been put in faulty and not noticed.

I think his post was a joke...

The house/shop has just disappeared, amazed the houses next to the explosion are virtually untouched.

Sounds like gas explosion, they always seem to destroy the building in question even in a terrace but leave adjoining buildings relatively undamaged. If it were a bomb it would have taken out the neighbouring buildings as well looking at the damage to the shop/flat

Papers reporting a Londis rather than a Polish shop.

Mail:

Former Londis shop, says here the current owners have only been there 6 weeks. - https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/leicester-fi...

You know how a lot of people abstract electricity? Does it happen with gas too?

it have been told it does. i have a good friend that lives in london that reckons some engineers have rounds where they turn the meters round to run them backwards for a certain amount of time then turn them back round again prior to the next reading. he mentioned a specific community where relations were employed in various roles in the gas company so it was easier to do as the meter readers knew the engineers etc. this was a few years ago and i have no idea how accurate what he said actually is.

Just reminded me of the episode of bottom called “gas” .....

Amazed at how cleanly it came down with barely any damage to next door.
