That story paints him as an absolute knob. He wouldnt even let a couple with a baby walk up a hill as he was using it? Deserved a pasting.
How the fk does anybody get into a physical fight with a couple pushing a baby on Christmas Day?
By having a massively overblown sense of their own self-importance.

Probably.

First Wiggo being outed as a drug cheat, and now the masquerade is collapsing around Farah. His credibility is utterly in tatters after the revelation around the L-carnitine injection.

I don't think you can say Wiggins is a cheat.

He took drugs, which he was authorised to take. He got this authorisation before he took the drugs. He did not break any rules. And all this took place almost 6 years ago. Somebody had just decided that even though he hasn't broken any rules, whatever he did which was pre-authorised anyway, broke some ethical standard which they have just decided to apply to him.

I don't get all this "Mo is great" stuff. He has been shown up as a self centred, entitled git.

Another drug-addled athlete, doped to the eyeballs and high on his sense of self-importance. I'd be interested to know what happened before the filming started. Much like the couple walking with their child, I suspect it might have something to do with Mo not being treated like a prince and getting the utmost respect he so fully deserves.

I've never taken to him. Interesting to see things are finally unwrapping for him.

Wasn't he associated with a dodgy doc a few years ago?

Reminds me of the pro cyclists involved with Dr Ferrari. Look what happened there.

I think Wiggins has done brilliantly winning the TdF whilst taking drugs.

When I was on drugs, I couldn't even find my bike silly

Were the drugs he was authorised to take prescribed by a team doctor?.. Or perhaps that should read tame doctor?

When you look at twitter it's incredible to see how many* other people complain about racist treatment at Munich airport.

*none, not one, nil, zilch.

IIRC that was Alberto Salazar in the Nike Oregon project. If it was me, I think that is do my best to distance myself from this as even if I was clean, there is now a suspicion about the trainer.

Who cares who prescribed the drugs. That he was taking them was known at the time. There is no suggestion, even in the MPs report, that he broke the rules.

If you want rules, make rules. Don't have a hissy fit years after the event that somebody should have done something, which wasn't in the rules, that you just think they should have done.

I'm surprised that generating this report, that Wiggins has done something within the rules, is worthy of MP's time.

If I may offer a counter point. I am brown / Asian. I have travelled extensively and have been in and out of Munich airport for the last 30 years. It has by far the rudest security staff that I have ever encountered. Their disdain does appear to be directed towards ethnic minorities.

I have had a number of incidents over the years where I could have made a big issue out of it, but chose to just smile and tolerate it. Full marks to Mo for exposing it.

My apologies for the generalisations and to all the Munich airport staff that are top men and women.

I have no idea where to begin with that. Article just ends abruptly, plus the complete lack of a proof-reader for the title. Also 9 years ago.

If you think it is rude nowadays, you should have seen what it was like 80 years ago... wink

I agree. Second probably to LAX NTSA agents, who are unbelievably obtuse, Munich is awful! And I am white, blonde hair and blue eyes, you think they'd fking love me!
