Are they less devout or understanding those teachings differently?

Polls don’t lead to actions. There are very few islamists who have killed people on British soil.

You're right not all the people in that image are ethnonationalists. What they are is a huge echo chamber that disseminates anti progressive ideas & opinions (some of which are openly racist/bigoted) to isolated people on the internet, mostly for their own economic gain. Not the type of people I'd be looking to for world wisdom.
