Put that £6 away.

Pretty much free movement for the EU after brexit.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/bre...

So predictable. Cue triggering.

The emergency brake is back.

But it is NOT - repeat NOT - Cameron's woeful remainer emergency brake.

Its a completely new shiney Brexity brake, and therefore a huge step forward to taking back control.

Funny if not so tragic.

I fear that GS is back for the weekend, a bit like a Court Jester running around and hitting people in the head with an inflated pig’s bladder tied to the end of a stick.

Mistake spotted already and corrected. Libel is civil so it would be for damages. Since the views where opinion I think they would have no case. The issue was he decided to publish before he resigned. What would team leave say if a senior civil servant published a book called “brexit the stupid idea”.
what about 9 million quids worth of leaflets instead of a book ?

No but I think they should only be allowed to whinge once about the result if they don't vote....after that they should be ridiculed.
The wonders of free speech don't you know.
Albeit with no credibility whatsoever, if someone doesn't have the self belief and backbone to vote on an issue, even to attend and spoil the card to make a view clear then they clearly are not confident or believe in their opinions on the issue.
If someone didn't vote remain or leave I would suggest that any input they now have on the matter is not their own, mearly what they have been fed through being weak of mind and as such is worthless.
Let's face it, a two option ( 3 if you count being all 6th form radical and spoiling you card) isn't the hardest thing to do.
I enjoy reading the opinions of remainers no matter how much I disagree with them if they at least voted, that shows some conviction and belief in their point of view, a challenge to my own.
If you didn't vote you can lord it up with your "free speech" however expect people to treat your speech with indignation. A truly worthless point of view........

It doesn't take any intelligence to vote. Any fool can put a cross on a piece of paper. Thanks for the demonstration.

Awwwww, bless....so you don't belief you're even clever enough to vote.
Thanks for confirming you know nothing if you think it's just about the cross on the paper.
Guess making things simple helps you...........and the insult, water off a ducks back as it came from a poster who has no self belief, no spine and no point.
On the plus side at least you realise that if any fool can put a cross on a piece of paper you have something to aim for next time you want someone to give you some credit on your little rants.
If you vote then your worth listening to no matter what way you voted on any issue,if you didn't then you're not, simple even for an fool like me.
Enjoy your evening and doubtless you will be here for many volumes to come until the internet agrees with you and gives your balls a little tickle, if that is they have dropped and enabled you to vote on something, even if it is the X factor.

.........waits for attempt at clever?

Some it seems are very triggered by Purples views.

Why not just present a counter view?

Going after him for not voting and belittling his opinion for that reason suggests you can't.

Bottom of the pyramid.

I note there is no discussion about the actual negotiations:

Latest:

- Barnier says the EU don't need UK FS. What if he means it - they've meant everything else so far.

- May set to offer free movement to EU citizens post brexit, with an emergency brake, to unlock the stalled negotiations.
