You are missing the point here. The police covered stuff up s they were in the pocket of a big time gangster...that st needs exposing mate, for all of us.
Had Stephen of been white the result still would of been the police covering up for a gangsters lad.
If our police can be paid to cover stuff up by gangsters then it is a big deal.....it goes way beyond someone dying...

How untouchable this gangster was is mental....
spot on. i don't mind the case being in the spotlight for as long as possible.

O I no exactly what happened but it was 20 years ago now, the time for being outraged over it was 20 years ago it’s time to move on
Still a bunch of them walking the streets though... and coppers on fat pensions who were corrupt.

Currently you have done 'whataboutisum' and 'easily offended'.........whats next Godwins law?

If someone killed one of my kids i'd not rest until they were brought to justice....or find them and slaughter them myself..

If by doing this it took me 30 years and annoying people like you by going on about it so what..?

Utterly pointless to have a Memorial Day.

They should have just focused on rooting out corrupt cops. This is a much more fitting and lasting tribute.

I’m not missing any points I’m sick of hearing about it, everyone and there aunty knows what happened, we don’t need to be reminded every single day of the year for 20 odd years and that’s that,

It's an absurd exaggeration and complete falsehood. to say we're reminded every single day. Suggesting this is the case demeans your argument.

Which takes us back to the question of why you're irritated about social injustice campaigns. Your tragic anecdotes do not address this.

I just can’t wait to hear each year about:

Princess Diana
Madeline.
Stephen Lawrence.
Hillsborough.
1972 Olympics
Brighton Bombings
1966 World Cup.
Lockerbie.
The Twin towers
Etc

They are all terrible tradgedies.
But unless there is something newsworthy and genuinely new to report the “it is the Xxx anniversary of ....” is just lazy journalism.
