hey are, actually, really, really good off road, surprisingly. Not that many get used that way.
If you think about it, it's one of the lightest LR products, with exceptionally short front and rear overhangs. I've driven a lot of LRs, properly off road and was impressed with the Evoque. Granted, few ever get used properly.
a mate reckons his wife's is the best car he has ever driven in the snow. he owns a business in the motor trade so has owned more than a few to compare. If you think about it, it's one of the lightest LR products, with exceptionally short front and rear overhangs. I'd had various Ranger Rovers (full fat) Discoveries and Defenders, so we knew it was pretty straightforward for them in the snow. The Evoque was excellent. She's just had her third one (she had one of the very first) and it's the best yet - a really nice, quiet, comfortable drive and very capable in the winter. even has a heated steering wheel now!
