You shifty gammon; we of the choleric nation applaud your re-appropriation of this term that, for too long, has been used to oppress us. You can take our country, but you cannot take our pineapple slices/fried eggs / pease pudding (delete as appropriate).

Is the first one to 100 declared “King of the Gammon?”

Is it an accolade, like the way some chavs are proud of having an ASBO?

Such a terrific thread. wink

Best not to let jim jim make the King of the Gammon declaration then.
He'll have no idea when the 100 has been reached. : laugh:

Btw, NOW it's page 46 , son.

Their is no need for Brexiters to count their posts as the nasty Finn will have them all recorded in a spreadsheet with salient points highlighted and saved for future reference. moan

What is it that these ‘ex kippers, ranty, old rejects complaining about exactly?
Bankers, Muslims, Brexit, political correctness, cost of denture adhesives?

Are you sure it’s not just in your head?
Given the evidence available not just on this thread, I'd have to say no.

I ask because outside in the real World it seems to me that the group to which you refer are calm and comfortable in the main. Perhaps it’s the company I keep.
Perhaps. Is your 'company' anything like the meme from QT?
Bankers, good observation, the finance industry has been found to be less than honest over recent decades. Why wouldn’t people be annoyed with them?
Muslims, personally not heard of any grievance from any persons from my inner or outer circle of friends,
Brexit, the only persons I have heard grouse is the few that voted to stay in the EU.
Political correctness, agreed many people have moaned about SOME of the more absurded observations to be followed.
QT is supposed to be an audience offering a balance of age and political alligence / bias. Nothing like I would assume any individual would form friendships on that basis.
Are your group of pals as bitter as you appear to be regarding these issues or do they simply rely upon the internet to vent anger and frustration?

So the Finn is surplus to PH forum requirements?

Too fast. Give him time. He's still struggling with 'no body'. Once poor thing gets there, I'll get him to figure out when to use capital letters.

This thread much like the Tommy whasiname just keeps on rolling which given the subjects of the threads is just mind boggling.

916 posts in (the page count thing is a bit odd) I’m none the wiser what the point of the thread is: old blokes are more generally conservative and suffer from hypertension.
Colour me porcine.
I guess I am gammon on that score and if the quid pro quo is that I get to call millennials snowflakes then I guess gammon it is.
But 916 posts?

You think he should have used the definite article? (“Once the poor thing gets there”)?
