You see, cranked, one of the defining characteristics of a gammon ( Kray twin was used as a synonym for gammon within this thread, but I believe you got that?), is the need for tribal support. So I do understand why you do it. What I'm not sure about is that you understand the words that you are using. And when to use quotes.

Why would your interest in bags (or that particular bag?) 'vex' me? I have to ask again; are you ok?

It's patently obvious you don't understand humour, satire or wit, but then that's not a crime.

You are right, I don't understand that saying that a woman in the picture is on permanent period is 'humour, satire or wit'. It's something that a weirdo would say.

it's sexist crap. I've also seen some accused today of "being on the blob". There are some real throwbacks on here.

It is a bit unusual that a petrolhead wouldn’t recognise the ferrari/house etc.

That said the comments following surely indicate that “misogynist” can be added to the skillset of the average gammon, which will I’m sure surprise absolutely nobody (or even no body). wink

Sadly, the petrolhead is an endangered species on PistonHeads.

I immediately recognised the scene from FBDO and the prominently featured Fezza. Then wondered what the hell the poster was on about. Still not entirely sure, but I'm certain he was beetroot red when typing it.

Still I have no knowledge of the property in question, why should I have ? Others have pointed to some movie film in which this property features?
I would consider knowing that part of general education for anyone whose knowledge of movies didn't end up with the introduction of talkies.
Movies, part of education?

Tribal support is as old as as time. Expect you enjoy such support within your own tribe, or are you a loner?

Has to be a reference to me I guess. My petrolhead day’s linked to TVR SEAC and Griff 4.3 B/V. Long time ago. What I find sad is the infiltration of trolls into what used to be a TVR forum
of interest.

Its a bit unusual, but not beyond the realms of possibility.

Perhaps you are a generation that missed Ferris Bueller - which is not intended as a criticism.

I always wondered what the “Aramid Composite /(construction?)” TVRs were like to own - something for another thread perhaps, and certainly an interesting bit of UK car history to be involved with.

Not that I have seen the film (obviously)...........What has Ferris Bueller got to do with education?

Now I know it's been warm today, so I shouldn't really be
so suprised to discover so many snowflakes in
such a state of distress, but tbh I thought the point of this
whole thread was to alleviate some of their self inflicted fears
and phobias. Well that doesn't appear to have worked out
very satisfactory.

On the contrary , we find jim jim imagining dead gangsters in some
kind of tribal vendetta against him. Strange.
Not to mention the apoplectic rage he displays when others don't
instantly share his recognition, appreciation or interpretation of films, paintings or
heaven knows what happens to take his fancy.
It's almost like he becomes the Grump.

His acolytes seem to be equally affected by his anger.
Flouncy flouncy indeed. smile

Btw jim jim, if one feels the need to point out something is
obvious, then it probably isn't obvious . Obviously you
have difficulty with that concept. laugh

Had a pleasant afternoon preparing the narrow boat
with the grandsons for what will hopefully be an even
more pleasant weekend. Hope you all enjoy yours.

This is PH, TVR originated, my TVR SEAC 450 was an animal. Completely useless in traffic with its transmission shunt and holding back, a nightmare. But out of town and let the horses out. As for the 4.3 Griff B/v mental power but sadly the chassis was not set up to handle that power. Now it’s a different story, we know that geomentary coupled with the core t dampers transforms the car into the demon that. it remains.
As for me, an oldie that had the privilidge to own these monsters, and may still go back to one.
Another thread for detail perhaps.

I remember seeing it at the NEC and thinking it was awesome. They can't have made that many.

The 959 probably made the biggest lasting impression though. smile

Nobody is reading this thread and thinking you two are well balanced individuals.

You’ve both pretty much lived up to all the stereotypes of the thread title.

But wait, you’re working on a narrow boat so you must be happy normal people and Gloria is the ranting angry one. rofl

You two both have narrow boats?

I didn't think this thread could get better, but it just has.
