Sounds awful, I wonder what happened?

I know which of those two I think more likely, but I'm open to other suggestions.
A tad flippant considering 3 people have just been killed IMO.2. The people were in the wrong place, doing things they shouldn't have been doing.

I used to get the train from Loughborough Junction junction in my old job, the place was lawless (work used to escort females to the station after dark) with graffiti on every available surface even ones where it didn't look possible to reach so it was probably people trespassing imo.
