Looks like it was a power tool battery exploding. Couple of folk in hospital and 3 more lightly injured.

I wonder if it involved an actual drill battery being made to catch fire, or if it was something else disguised as one, or if it was just mistakenly identified as that.

Wierd that the arrested someone for what on the face of things seems to be an accident.

Thanks Blaster, appreciated, one of my grandsons uses Southgate station on his way home from school, catching a bus when he gets off the subway.
I knew he was okay, as he’d texted me after the time of the incident, but my interest was piqued, but not enough to get the fail’s fairyland view.
