Trumps speech to coal workers last week
https://mobile.twitter.com/ddale8/status/103128676...

This is to the people who have seen a huge reduction of jobs in the last year...

You absolutely could not bomb coal nor will it damage wildlife or the environment. We should even eat the stuff it's so good, perhaps make clothing out of it too. And power motorbikes. America fk yeah!

If this is real it’s the confused work of a seven year old:

All of his transcripts you need to read twice just to understand them.

He actually speaks like my 3 year old:

Look spaghetti hoops (pointing at hair bands in a bowl) yum yum I don't like them or mash potato they put beans on the top and I went yum but I don't like them. I like chicken nuggets. There was no collusion.

(Ok I made the last bit up).

Last year McMaster had to talk Trump out of revoking Obama's security clearance.

I wonder why he might have wanted this?

Not sure what Papadopolous's wife is doing. She appeared on the Sean Hannity show tonight and claimed that George is being punished because he wasn’t willing to tell Mueller the lies that Mueller wanted to hear.

At the moment he only has a plea deal on some charges. This could be very dangerous tactics

I'm sure if in the UK she would be slapped with a "contempt of court" order. I'm always amazed at how people in the US can openly discuss in the media ongoing court cases.

This is an interesting look at how the White House continue to ignore any issues with security clearance

Leading Democrats in the House just sent a lengthy letter to White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.
“We are writing regarding recent reports that National Security Advisor John Bolton, in his former capacity as a top official with the National Rifle Association (NRA), worked directly with a Russian citizen who has now been charged by federal prosecutors with infiltrating that organization and spying against the United States for years.”

https://democrats-oversight.house.gov/sites/democr...

They are requesting this to see if the White house learnt that Bolton was working with Maria Butina and tried to suppress it, or just did a poor job of vetting.

Not that they'd admit to. Wife's dad once said they 'should string up that n*gger' when referring to Obama. And he's swears he's not racist. And yes, he voted for Trump.

No-one in the US is a racist but, at least where I lived (Texas), the whites hate the blacks and latinos, the blacks hate the whites and latinos, the latinos probably have the most balanced outlook and they all hate the yellows. Its a mad place to be. Hence, now back in the UK.
It’s very sad, but I think racism is very much alive and well in the USA. It is as well to remember that the US was an ‘apartheid’ setup until really relatively recently. I am not sure if anyone here has read a book called ‘Black Like Me’, but that is an eye opener of how things were not too long ago.

My feeling when spending some time in Charleston, South Carolina, was that bubbling under the surface there are plenty of white folks who would be quite comfortable to go back to something close to how things were a couple of generations ago. I think for many of those types of folks, having a partly black president was all a bit much really.

The orange baboon has, I think, made them feel better about themselves.
Racism is one of their issues. I don't think it's exclusively on party lines either, per the Obama point.

It appears, especially if reports are validated, Trump could be guilty of it. The reaction of the greater public to that is what will hopefully generate the debate to address it. To fix it, you first need to acknowledge it exists. This is just one of the issues associated with the size of the US and the inevitable sub cultures therein.

I worked in Arlington Texas for a while, and yes they are racist. Worked with a English born of Jamaican decent and they really gave him a hard time.
