Ironically, many of the people here who vehemently defended bankers and finance types who escaped virtually untouched following the financial crash are strong supporters of Trump - and yet it is the many Americans who felt that the bankers HAD NOT been punished properly who voted for him.

He's certainly on roll today

Donald J. Trump
‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump

So we now find out that it was indeed the unverified and Fake Dirty Dossier, that was paid for by Crooked Hillary Clinton and the DNC, that was knowingly & falsely submitted to FISA and which was responsible for starting the totally conflicted and discredited Mueller Witch Hunt!

So may lies in just one tweet. What is coming out he knows about thats tripped him. Manaforts trial?

The banking chaos was a very complex issue.
There were bankers and financial institutions that fuelled the fire of that chaos by their mismanagement of their responsibilities, as we laymen might perceive them.
Question is to whom were they reponsible and were laws in place that made their actions criminal.
Careless, irresponsible, greedy, unethical, stupid ...all those adjectives might be applied..
But if within the law then who do we blame.
Should we not look at the government and political establishment and judiciary to blame as much as those bankers that took advantage of an absence of law and regulation.

The point I'm making, irrespective of the actual blame that should be thrown at "bankers" and other financial institutions, it is the perceived lack of action against these people that served to fuel "anti-establishment" sentiment. In the US, that has manifested itself in the election of someone who CLAIMS to be anti-establishment (although anyone with a pair of eyes and a brain knows he is anything but).

He is currently going off on one on Twitter; his biggest rant for quite some time hehe

In the last hour (oldest tweet first):

Tom Fitton on @foxandfriends at 6:15 A.M. NOW! Judicial Watch.

“It was classified to cover up misconduct by the FBI and the Justice Department in misleading the Court by using this Dossier in a dishonest way to gain a warrant to target the Trump Team. This is a Clinton Campaign document. It was a fraud and a hoax designed to target Trump....

....and the DOJ, FBI and Obama Gang need to be held to account. Source #1 was the major source. Avoided talking about it being the Clinton campaign behind it. Misled the Court to provide a pretext to SPY on the Trump Team. Not about Carter Page..was all about getting Trump.....

.....”Carter Page wasn’t a spy, wasn’t an agent of the Russians - he would have cooperated with the FBI. It was a fraud and a hoax designed to target Trump.” Tom Fitton @JudicialWatch A disgrace to America. They should drop the discredited Mueller Witch Hunt now!
When you hear the Fake News talking negatively about my meeting with President Putin, and all that I gave up, remember, I gave up NOTHING, we merely talked about future benefits for both countries. Also, we got along very well, which is a good thing, except for the Corrupt Media!

A Rocket has not been launched by North Korea in 9 months. Likewise, no Nuclear Tests. Japan is happy, all of Asia is happy. But the Fake News is saying, without ever asking me (always anonymous sources), that I am angry because it is not going fast enough. Wrong, very happy!

The Amazon Washington Post has gone crazy against me ever since they lost the Internet Tax Case in the U.S. Supreme Court two months ago. Next up is the U.S. Post Office which they use, at a fraction of real cost, as their “delivery boy” for a BIG percentage of their packages....

....In my opinion the Washington Post is nothing more than an expensive (the paper loses a fortune) lobbyist for Amazon. Is it used as protection against antitrust claims which many feel should be brought?

How do we know what he has or hasn't granted to Russia? He's not told us a single thing about his two hour meeting with Putin.
He sold the form to North Korea. He could have sold the farm house to Russia.

Trump needs to set the scene of a tainted prosecution so that when Manafort is convicted Trump can pardon him with some time served. I would almost bet my house on it.

He likes the expression "the likes of...." a lot.

Maybe his aggressiveness would be more effective if his vocabulary was more variable and better.

Cool got some photos? Although I had no problems at the trump protests. Lots of 4G and wifi hotspots in that London.

You could just say you were working. It's a pain when that happens

Today saw the arrival of Emir Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani of Qatar visiting the UK.

They enforce Sharia Law, have less rights for women, being Gay is punishable by death.

So any protests in London? a bigger cause to protest than Trumpy. The lefties have gone very quiet today.
Are you going to protest?

it’s a bit off topic but as Qatar sell their oil and gas contracts in U.S dollars they get a pass from Trump. The Saudis on the other hand......

the Qatarians know which side their bread is buttered.

I mean, you've Jared, selling his security secrets, for bailing out his business, gave classified intel to the Saudis, was called compromised by a foreign nation, and tried to set up a backchannel to Putin via a Russian SCIF!

Nah that's ok say the GOP

Trump monitoring his Potus position, ploughing money into his pocket with cash for access, ploughing money into his businesses with all his trips there

Nah that's ok say the GOP

But Brennan, criticising trump....

Interesting

New York's Department of Financial Services is looking into Signature Bank's lines of credit to Kushner Cos. and whether the bank lent money to developers knowing they planned to use abusive tactics to push out low-rent tenants and then charge more.

Especially as Ivanka Trump sat on Signature Bank's board of directors while the bank was lending to her father and her husband.
