But that was different... somehow. Trump cannot be forced to testify because ... um ... you know: "Trump".https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/4777126-Re...

"Judge Kavanaugh, given the admitted contacts between the Russian government and the Trump campaign, do you believe Special Counsel Mueller should obtain from President Trump full and complete testimony regarding the precise details of the relationship?"

On Sunday, the current national security adviser, John R. Bolton, suggested that Russia was not the only threat in the fall elections. He also named China, Iran and North Korea — the other most active cyberoperators among state adversaries — as threats.
But so far Microsoft and other firms have not found extensive election-related actions by those nations.
Goodo - disgruntled Republicans are what's needed to shift this lump of excrement out of The White House.https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/21/us/politics/rus...

Let's see if he will criticise Putin when it becomes clear Putin is targetting other Republicans.

Team trump administration have made public the details of its new pollution rules governing coal-burning power plants, and the fine print includes an acknowledgment that the plan would increase carbon emissions and lead to up to 1,400 premature deaths annually.
The new proposal by the EPA seeks to make minor on-site efficiency improvements at individual plants and would also let states relax pollution rules for power plants that need upgrades, keeping them active longer.

Thank heavens all that expensive lobbying by the coal industry is paying off,

as they had a having a coal industry lobbiest in the EPA

Manafort's trial, part 87... Jury has today asked "If we cannot come to consensus on a single count...what does that mean for the final verdict?"
Seems to imply that there IS consensus on the verdict for most of the alleged offences. If that means Manafort is guilty of most charges, I hope Twitter has invested in more infrastructure.

And in other court-related news, the guy that Trump squirreled about as "the Pakistani mystery man" as recently as Helsinki, has been convicted.
As part of that Democrat-libtard conspiracy, right? No; for lying to get some sort of home loan. No jail time. No fine. And the judge was unhappy about Trump and other alt-righter politicians sticking their oars in.
