In the "normal" world surely what happened yesterday would be enough to finish a President?

Use of campaign funds to pay of a Porn Star. After specifically saying it didn't happen.

It shows how far we have come that this is seen as a step along the way rather than something so extraordinary it finishes him.
You mean like 'sexing up a dossier' for an illegal war that caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children.

Yes we have indeed come a long way.
You are trying to equate apples with oranges.

If Blair had been supported by a foreign government during his election campaign he would have been removed by his own MP's and we would have gotten Gordon Brown a lot quicker.

Blair's support for the Republican presidents "want" to invade iraq was something Blair should never have tried to get off the back of some dodgy evidence. It's entirely different to swinging an election using a foreign government.

Blair was elected without the need to rely on a foreign governments help, he didn't need to cover up anything because in terms of his private / business life he was pretty clean. He made some stupid decisions after being elected, but he was lawfully elected.

If getting elected is something that can done at any cost then don't be surprised when someone imprisons all the election candidates and takes the presidency at gunpoint. Because "winning" is all that matters right?

Lets just list everything that happened yesterday

1. Cohen plead guilty to multiple counts of campaign finance violation, tax fraud and bank fraud and then went on to say that trump knew all about it, and the collusion with the russians and he wants to get a plea deal with Mueller it.

3. The court case against trumps former security and woman provider, Schiller, can go ahead. They are alleging that trump told Schiller to go beat them up.

What's the sauce on the Cohen spilling beans to Mueller? I read on CNN, I think it was, that Cohen wasn't going to/wouldn't talk to Mueller?

3. is one that flew under my radar.... interesting

So has Cohen really turned over a new leaf on this? If so, what the f**k did Trump do to prompt it?

I suspect it was too, but I thought I'd provide him with an out, instead of embarrassing himself by referencing that.

Cohens lawyer, Larry Davis went on MSNBC last night to say just that. Cohen's facing 12 years in jail, seizure of assets. He's now desperate for a plea deal. Remember, both him and Manafort were used to an extravagant lifestyle.

2. Manafort was found guilty on 8 counts (5 tax fraud, 2 substantive bank fraud, 1 FBAR count re 2012) and a mistrial on the other 10 counts (the other 4 FBARs, all the bank fraud conspiracy counts, and the other substantive bank fraud counts).

3. The court case against trumps former security and woman provider, Schiller, can go ahead. They are alleging that trump told Schiller to go beat them up.

4. The Defamation case against Steele for the information in the dossier was dismissed
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45251255

5. Republican Duncan Hunter, one of trumps first endorsers, has been indicted for using campaign funds for personal use

So much winning in another infrastructure week.

Did I miss anything in the summary?
I forgot one.

6. Omarosa released video footage of Cohen getting onto trumps campaign plane, thus providing the donald was lying when he said that Cohen wasn't involved in the campaign, so any payments he made couldn't have been illegal.

Because our trade with the US is about in balance we export roughly the same amount as we import while the EU exports far more to the US than it imports
The UK had a trade surplus with the US of £34 bn in 2017. That’s about half the level of our deficit with the EU. If one is material, so is the other.
Not sure where you got that figure from I took mine from the USA gov. Census website... https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/balance/c4120...

Also hiding away
7. Mueller's team asked for another sentencing delay, suggesting Flynn has provided Mueller valuable information and may still be providing useful cooperation.

Also Cohen's in more trouble as he lied to the Senate Intelligence Committee about trumps knowledge and actions around the trump tower meeting

Co-operation with the prosecution will reduce the sentence by a lot. He may not see the any meaningful punishment. For the USSC its more important to fry the bigger fish.

Plus Trump is not known for his loyalty to others and Cohen has no doubt seen others who were thrown under the bus simply because they stopped being useful.

I've said it before - the Broidy abortion payoff may be a bit more harmful to Trump than paying off some "glamour models".
