This guy is fking scumbag.

These are all successful professional women. I can't see that they would invite this kind of scrutiny into their lives and character unless there was some truth to these allegations.

The number increases every day or two. How can so many people be wrong?
To play the devils advocate, bandwagons have formed over far lesser things and a lot of people, especially career driven people want their 15 mins of fame.

(note: I agree he's a complete scumbag, just trying to look from other perspectives).
I see it from your side too.

But he's obviously a Trump stooge who will do what he's told and as every day goes by and more comes out, I'm more inclined to believe the accusers.

But even if I didn't, this man is clearly not fit to be a SCJ.

Which by the terms of this Presidency means he is perfectly qualified for the job.

I mean sure, who wouldn't want to testify in front of the senate about a fabricated sexual assault story, whilst receiving death threats and having to move out of their house and employ private security to protect themselves?

All for that sweet sweet fame.

Nah that needs another 11 sexual assault allegations.

I think the criteria is set at 15 accusers.

I stand corrected. Unlike anyone associated with this Presidency.

There have been cases of people that desperate for fame and glory that they've done worse (Tonya Harding comes to mind). It was the most plausible denial excuse I could think of (and likely, so I expect the character assassinations to begin in earnest).

I don't believe it, just trying to think like a Trumpite (to beat the enemy, you must know the enemy) and yes, it does hurt trying to think down to that level.

There is no obligation to make up another perspective when that other perspective doesn't exist.

That other perspective does exist. Plenty of Republicans I am sure will genuinely believe this is a blocking tactic. They know they have tried stuff to block the position when Obama was there, so will suspect the same is being done now. You can't really prove or disprove these accusations in terms of firm evidence, so it becomes he said/she said. And so it is easy to support "your" side as a result, as you believe the other side is lying.

I suspect in the future we are going to see a lot of big public figures have this. The other side will view it was ok, as the "badies" did the same previously. As I mentioned previously in a country of 530 million there will be a few people willing to take someone out. It's very hard to prove it's true or false, and can look suspicious unless the timeline starts previously (such as the daughter who had a lot of reports/witnesses from the past).

He's boasting about how much his administration has achieved. They openly laugh at him.

For a tiny miniscule fraction of time I nearly felt sorry for him there. then I remembered who he is.

Yeah, thanks. i got the general vibe, but I thought they laughed at something in particular that he said, that I couldn't make out.

He seemed to take it well.
That was hikiarious. Thing is, he doesn’t realise what they are laughing at. I genuinely think he believes he has done more than anyone else. That’s the scary part.

Presumably the undocumented migrants bump the number up that high?

320 million, biggrin Did it from memory this time, which is not always great for numbers. The point still stands. (It's not saying anything about the accusers in this case, just I can see it happening a lot in the future for anyone of either side standing for a public position.

I just want an interview where he is genuinely challenged when he says these things, ok then list the accomplishments that no one has ever done? Tax reform (done before) Trade wars (done before) Deregulation (by definition going back to something done before) North Korea - just started and tried many times before. I am struggling for this unique achievement, am I missing it? I can think of many unique aspects of this administration but they aren't positive.

Hmmm - that was more embarrassing than hilarious.

It's one thing when an audience laughs when the President cracks a joke or makes a witty comment.
It's another when they laugh when he is trying to be serious and sincere.

He has spent the best part of three years insulting the work of the UN and the people who work in its various organisations. He's lucky they only laughed.

He let the mask slip. In his head he was thinking "These guys know I'm a con-man - so I'll play along - for the moment".
