"Check"? It was stated clear as day in the coverage. So you're regurgitating your facts from somewhere else rather than basing it on the coverage?
I don't really follow this with such attention to cover every single thing.Behave you dobber.

Kavanaughs coming out swinging... very aggressive and angry opening statements. You can see it and hear it... he is fighting this.
If you believed you were innocent, that's what you would do.If it were me, I would play the victim role myself. I would be humble and vulnerable... much like Ford was this morning.
He is playing party politics and blaming everyone on the left over all time so it seems.

you believe a PhD doesn't understand what "on behalf of" means?
I believe that a person being questioned in a hugely unfamiliar circumstance, infront of the worlds media who has already answered "I didn't speak to anyone in congress" might not understand a repeated question of "did anyone else speak on your behalf, or under your instruction to anyone in congress", yes. The question is so broad as to be unanswerable. I am sure plenty of people spoke on her behalf, and there is no way for her to know honestly whether any of those conversations involved anyone in congress.
Christ you're a bore.
Even as someone who believes Ford's account (i.e, I am admittedly biased) this opening statement is.... I don't even know the word? Ludicrous, absurd, insane?.
The calendars, Clintons, "someone confided in me that they had been raped..... I was one of the only men she confided in", listing off endless reels of names for no good reason...? "Sometimes I had too many beers.... I liked beer.... I still like beer.... I never sexually assaulted anyone. If every American who drinks beer is automatically assumed to be guilty of sexual assault....". The references to the year book.
As I say, I will fully admit I am biased, but this is downright strange.
ETA: Jesus this is dragging on... he's reciting pretty much every interaction hes ever had with girls / women.

Just playing catch up as been driving/at the beach for sunset. Watching the recordings.
Thought this was a good moment
Blumenthal said to Dr. Ford: "If we agree on nothing else today, I hope, on a bipartisan basis, we can agree on how much courage it has taken for you to come forward and I think you have earned America's gratitude."

are we watching the same? The guy is crying and obviously shows very sincere emotions. Whoever put him and his family through this should rot in jail for life.If Kavanaugh is meant for the highest office in US legality - he seems a bit too emotional to be level headed to make straight decisions under pressure surely?
Half of what he's been on about has very little to do with the allegations against him either. Just bulling up his "character" rather than defending himself. Just because you've done good things today, doesn't mean you didn't do bad things aged 17.
