There is a falsehood that you've put forward this evening.
oh OK then, I really didn't check every single one
"Check"? It was stated clear as day in the coverage. So you're regurgitating your facts from somewhere else rather than basing it on the coverage?

I don't really follow this with such attention to cover every single thing.

Kavanaughs coming out swinging... very aggressive and angry opening statements. You can see it and hear it... he is fighting this.
If you believed you were innocent, that's what you would do.
No he comes off like an aggressive idiot.

You're following another discussion with enough attention to post their unsubstantiated "facts" here. Maybe stop doing both, or at least stop posting here.

You're able to pick out (incorrect) inconsistencies in Ford's allegation, but don't follow the story with attention.
Behave you dobber.

No he comes off like an aggressive idiot.

Agree completely, he is not showing himself well at all.

If it were me, I would play the victim role myself. I would be humble and vulnerable... much like Ford was this morning.

He is playing party politics and blaming everyone on the left over all time so it seems.

He is a judge and considers not having a party on a calendar proves he wasn’t there?!

This must be a joke surely.

Genius get outs from here on!

Buy calendar.
Don’t write anything in it.
See I’ve never done anything ever!

you believe a PhD doesn't understand what "on behalf of" means?
I believe that a person being questioned in a hugely unfamiliar circumstance, infront of the worlds media who has already answered "I didn't speak to anyone in congress" might not understand a repeated question of "did anyone else speak on your behalf, or under your instruction to anyone in congress", yes.

The question is so broad as to be unanswerable. I am sure plenty of people spoke on her behalf, and there is no way for her to know honestly whether any of those conversations involved anyone in congress.

Christ you're a bore.
I've reported him to the mods to remove him/her from this thread. Adds nothing but provocation along with false news, lies and poor information to get a rise out of us who want to debate this subject as adults.
You've got to remember that he thought his hero trump was a real man for shagging a porn star and a supermodel (referring to melania)

are we watching the same? The guy is crying and obviously shows very sincere emotions. Whoever put him and his family through this should rot in jail for life.

Even as someone who believes Ford's account (i.e, I am admittedly biased) this opening statement is.... I don't even know the word? Ludicrous, absurd, insane?.

The calendars, Clintons, "someone confided in me that they had been raped..... I was one of the only men she confided in", listing off endless reels of names for no good reason...? "Sometimes I had too many beers.... I liked beer.... I still like beer.... I never sexually assaulted anyone. If every American who drinks beer is automatically assumed to be guilty of sexual assault....". The references to the year book.

As I say, I will fully admit I am biased, but this is downright strange.

ETA: Jesus this is dragging on... he's reciting pretty much every interaction hes ever had with girls / women.

Just playing catch up as been driving/at the beach for sunset. Watching the recordings.
Thought this was a good moment

Blumenthal said to Dr. Ford: "If we agree on nothing else today, I hope, on a bipartisan basis, we can agree on how much courage it has taken for you to come forward and I think you have earned America's gratitude."

Whys Kavanaugh ranting about revenge on or of the clintons. That's hardly an independent judge?

He is trying to cry as much as Ford was trying not to cry.

THIS WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DISCOVERED!

Nope watching it now. What it's showing is what an aggressive tt a drunk Kavanaugh could be. He's barely controlling it now...

Either that or Trump for nominating him. Maybe both.

I'd think only one of Trump or Ford actually stands a chance of ever doing time though.

If Kavanaugh is meant for the highest office in US legality - he seems a bit too emotional to be level headed to make straight decisions under pressure surely?

Half of what he's been on about has very little to do with the allegations against him either. Just bulling up his "character" rather than defending himself. Just because you've done good things today, doesn't mean you didn't do bad things aged 17.
