It’s odd how the pro trump posters have all joined in the last year or so.

Vanden Saab
Dangerous Elk etc.

It’s good though because the last lot of pro trump posters got banned about that time.

Is it a good thing? In the states too many people felt their voices were not heard by either set of politicians. People outside the main cities felt isolated and unheard so when Trump came along he seemed to them an obvious choice as it gave them back their voice.

They had a vote he won and instead of the Democrats sucking it up and making sure they went out to win back the people that voted for Trump they did not. They attacked Trump which has had the opposite effect they wanted by Trump continuing the lie the media is against him and that dark forces are running the US. The senator who advocated the public to harangue those who worked for Trump in the stores, in the gas station out for a meal is that a good way to convince people their way is better?

Trumps approval is still high and the caravan of people being allowed to walk through several countries all determined to invade America, which appears to being whipped up by others, will just again make Trump appeal more to a lot of Americans.

Would Obama have allowed the 14000 marching to the border in? Of course not no president would and if they try to force past the border and the troops he has sent there open fire a lot will see that as Trump protecting them, whilst others will see it as cold blooded murder.

This reminds me of Brexit, there wasn't a lot of people allegedly supporting the leave camp, they kept quiet as to raise their voice meant they were met with cries of racism and how they were stupid by others.

Stifling opposing views is not a good way, having reasoned arguments is healthy, in the US because of Clinton calling Trump supporters deplorables for example, did she try to offer an alternative to what was developing, that deep polarisation which is happening and growing did they try reasoned persuasion, no they did not.

We see people on here who are obsessed with their hatred of Trump ignoring the fact the American people voted under their system and he won, do those people who voted for him have no right to decide their countries fate right or wrong which is the hallmark of a democracy or are the Democrats just going to continue to go after Trump yet offer no alternatives that would woo people back to them ?

Instead of stifling discussion it must take place otherwise how does anyone, as someone else posted get the middle sensible ground heard.

It is sad the US appears to be getting worse, but sometimes things have to get so bad before people realise what they were doing was stupid and a better way comes out it. What is troubling is that Clinton and Trump were both unsuitable to run the US and yet were chosen.

And in this thread are making just about the worst excuses for anything I've ever heard.

+1

This is the direct result of Trumps populist rabble rousing style of leadership.

He praised the assault of a journalist, encouraged hatred against the clintons and constantly tries to marginalise the media.

It’s no surprise then when his simpler supporters do this kind of thing.

Now he’s blaming the media for the whole thing.

Interesting use of the word "invade"........

I hope you are never forced through hunger, disease, politics, or war to leave your home and "invade" another country........

99.9% agree with everything you said apart from the 'Deep in every one of us is an innate sense of morality, we KNOW what is right and what is wrong'. Sociopaths don't. I'm not saying Trump is one as I believe he's the very definition of a narcissist; but there are almost certainly a number of high functioning sociopaths in Trumps administration.
i think even sociopaths have morality, it's just they lack the empathy to ascribe that morality to others! Ie, punch a sociopath in the face and they hurt, but when they punch someone else, they can't "see" that the other persons hurts just like they do.....

Not going to judge those people but what else would you call it? They have walked through other countries so far better than their own and have not been stopped or wanted to stay there. What would the UK Government do if the same was happening to us or as I asked Obama?

The US has a system of immigration that has been inplace many years and was seen by most to be fair basically the same as under all past presidents, these people feel they can just walk up to the border and be let in. regardless of why, this will in Trump supporters eyes justify the build the wall rhetoric and create more divisions in the US.

Sanders called for a nonviolent protest similar to those staged by Martin Luther King to protest the heathcare bill and trumps budget.
Trumpettes use Hodgekinson as there whataboutism justification.

ttp://uk.businessinsider.com/jake-tapper-bernie-sanders-revolution-rhetoric-encourages-violence-2017-6

But, when did Bernie call Republicans “evil people?” like trump accuses all the time?
When did Bernie call the Press the “Enemy of the People?” like trump frequenly does
When did Bernie recommend a “2nd Amendment Solution?” like trump did against Clinton at election rallies?

Those images aren't blurred, the van and stickers are the same crappy resolution as the rest of the surroundings, due to it being a zoomed image from a helicopter, which would have had the van obscured by foliage if it had moved around to the side.

I can't stand Trump, and I'm not defending or apologising for him, bit I don't believe those images are blurred at all.

The most amazing thing there is all of the comments saying this is all a 'left-wing liberal plot'. Truly astonishing how many nutters there are in the states, they really believe this stuff!
