You don't have to overtly state something to show where your sentiments lie.
phiffle, nonsense, rubbish, garbage, claptrap, balderdash, blatherTake your pick, I just don't like bullst and speculation from any end of the dirty stick.
I know someone quite well known (but not very nice) who is very fond of using the "both sides" tactic.

OK I will bite: POST one, just one example or time I have said I like, admire or support Trump.
SMDH. That's analgous to the people who say "Trump can't be racist, he's never said he's a racist" - like that's how things work. You know full well that your posts have leaned towards being an apologist at the very best. I don't agree with my friends that support Trump, but at least they have the balls to admit it.

I have a few American Friends who say he ain't the best but he's certainly woken everyone up A country that is riven with hatred and racism?
A country where the President seems to revel in such hatred and racism?
A country where the President seems hell bent on dividing its people until something REALLY dreadful happens?

I suppose it could be said that trump has made it horribly clear just how appallingly divided it is, but I would suggest he has had a lot to do with making that far worse, rather than just exposing it.
Expectations were very low when he was elected but he has managed to do a far worse job than even I was expecting. Any hope he might reveal some of the corruption in DC has been somewhat overshadowed by the fact that he himself is the most corrupt by far. It’s been an absolute stshow from literally day one, with all the lies about the size of the inauguration crowd.

More voting issues, where in this case votes appeared to be changed to Cruz, the official response is it's the voters fault because they aren't waiting for the page to fully render...

Reading the article even the democrats accept it is a machine problem that may be down to user error. They have asked for extra signs and training to avoid the issue and any machines that are genuinely faulty to be replaced.https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/10/26/reports-of-...
Even they are not suggesting this is fraudulent as it has been reported that votes cast for both side appear to have changed. What they do about it now will be interesting if it is a close result.

Never swallow all the bait.
The one thing I will never do in an argument is tell someone to "shut up" - even if I disagree with almost everything they say.
Telling someone to shut up denotes to me an inability and unwillingness to discuss and, worse of all, a revelation that the protagonist has run out of discursive ammunition (if they ever possessed any in the first place).

No to the fact that America is not working for all and the government is out of touch
I wouldn't credit him with that "accomplishment" at all. What he has done is failed to fix anything - as is his duty as President of ALL Americans - even those who did not vote for him. He seems to be absolutely unwilling to accept that.Consequently, he is making the problems that affect US society far, far worse than they should be.
This is how it works.
Fox news host Lou Dobbs had a guest Chris Farrell, the head of Judicial Watch who said the migrant caravan is being funded/directed by the "Soros-occupied State Department".
https://twitter.com/i/status/1056324117329297409
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy tweeted (later deleted) saying George Soros, Tom Steyer and Michael Bloomberg are buying this year’s elections
Two GOP congressmen, Matt Gaetz and Louie Gohmert, both claimed that George Soros was funding the caravan
trump himself calls for violent action

He even posted images of Hillary’s face on piles of money with stars of David
Fox then spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories mere hours after 11 people were gunned down at a synagogue in Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Synagogue shooter was clearly a commited anti-semite of long standing, but rampage was triggered by exactly this conspiracy theory, heavily pushed by trump and the GOP, that Soros and Jews are funding/directing the caravan.
This is what two years of trump has done. Deepend the divisions, the lack of trust, enpowered the worse parts of society.

Repeating a failed accusation requires it at times as there is a stop to the conversation until the accusation can be proven. Until that happens the (false) accuser should shut up.Telling someone to shut up denotes to me an inability and unwillingness to discuss and, worse of all, a revelation that the protagonist has run out of discursive ammunition (if they ever possessed any in the first place).
