I instantly thought 5oh as well, but Colorado? That's a bit too leftylooney sensible, I thought it was more West Virginia, I'm sure Appalachians featured somewhere.
I read it as Colorado being a good place to vacation, but I admit I was skim reading.

Anyway, sounds just like her to me!

No surprise there? These are his new lawyers he's only had a month after his last lawyers withdrew because he ignored all their advice after they got him a great plea deal.
He's been shooting his mouth off, inviting new charges or putting at risk his plea deal. It wouldn't surprise me if other charges will be brought against him

If a group standing outside your house singing "we will fight, we know where you sleep at night" isn't classed as intimidating I'd be interested to see how you'd feel about a loved one being subject to it. Any reasonable person knows this group went too far and if it is intimidation, well...

the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

Sounds like we're getting pretty close to that.
What about those fine folk with the tiki torches chanting "Jews will not replace us" - are they terrorists?

5OHPreston claimed to be in Tennessee. Smokey Mountains area. There are a lot of trailer parks down there with confederate flags flying so it sounded right.

I quite liked Pigeon Forge area, the smokey mountains when we went, some great roads and views, but yes there were flags flying everywhere. We were ok because we had a v8 mustang but if you didn't have a pickup they thought you were gay...

Not quite the positive spin the trumpettes believed?

Seems the donalds been in a bad move since the midterms

Senior admin officials, outside Trump confidants and foreign diplomats detail Trump's "five days of fury" after Democrats's election wins. Aides say Trump "brooded" over the Florida recounts and "sulked" over key races being called for Democrats.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/five-days-...

Bottled-up hostility in President Donald Trump’s administration flowed to the surface Tuesday during a remarkable 12-hour period following an awkward midterm détente and tense trip to Paris over which the president is still seething.

Its not getting better for him:

This is trumps america. Budget deficit rising out of control, hate crimes rising....

The U.S. recorded a $100,500,000,000 budget deficit in October, an increase of about 60% from a year earlier, as spending grew twice as fast as revenue.

A ballooning U.S. budget shortfall -- fueled by tax cuts, spending hikes and an aging population -- is driving the Treasury Department to raise its long-term debt issuance.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-11-13...

According to the FBI, hate crimes in America rose 17% last year according to newly released FBI data that showed an even larger increase in anti-Semitic attacks, 37% increase.

Oh dear

In CA45, Katie Porter (D) has just taken a small lead over Rep. Mimi Walters (R), 116,732 to 116,471. could be shaping up as another loss for the GOP.

On Monday, many countries signed onto a historic cybersecurity pact as part of the Paris Peace Forum, marking an important step forward in the global fight against cyberwarfare and criminal activity on the internet. It attempts to be the largest and most coordinated effort to date to create a set of international laws and norms for cyberwarfare and security, sort of a Geneva Convention for the digital world.

The cybersecurity pact calls for countries to work together to promote human rights on the internet, thwart malicious activities such as theft of intellectual property and trade secrets, and develop better methods to prevent foreign election interference.

Theres a huge number of tech companies have also signed up to it and organisations
Missing of course from this was China, North Korea, Russia, and the USA

For a thicko like me, can you or someone else explain to my how the deficit weighs up against the fact that we have been told in the last few months that the US economy is "booming"? smile
