And for the record, I am no fan of the current Labour regime any more than I am of the shower of ste who are in currently. However, screeching that 'Labour always ruin the economy' is as lazy as banding about that Maggie steals kids milk and buggers Miners.
Agreed. However as Pistonheads is predominantly full of right-wingers you won't get very far with that POV.

I've voted for all three parties over the years however I do think the current Labour frontbench is the worst since Kinnock's lot (and probably worst than them tbh). The only crumb of comfort for me is that staunch Labour voters (like my parents who are in their 80's) say they cannot vote for Corbyn.

However, the current government are so useless perhaps Corbyn is inevitable. Joy.
Agreed, on all points.

With May now conceding on Gibraltar, at what point does this move beyond mere capitulation and begin to look like treason in the eyes of the core Tory vote?

Good post.

Labour chose to invest the fruits of a growing economy into public services. That is what they do, and why they were elected.
One of the reasons Gordon was such a failure is that he did not understand the difference between spending and investing.

Perhaps the reason Labour sometimes get elected is that, as your post shows, neither do many of the electorate.

As it happens I do understand Project Management and have had the pleasure of working with many of the better ones in London on various projects from a few million to 1bn plus.
While it’s possible that you are telling the truth you do come across like the fellow sitting at the end of a bar who says he used to be in the SAS and was a millionaire.

Half surprised she didn't offer them to the EU as well. To steal a line from Twitter, May is the type of person who would go into a Black Friday sale and offer to pay the original price.

Surely she would go into a Black Friday sale and try and "negotiate" them down further, and then end up paying full original price smile

You may wish to tell that to the International Investment Firm Pimco, as he's on their Global Advisory Board, along with the ex-chairman of the US Federal Reserve and the ex-president of the European Central Bank.

Any income received is going to charity.

I think you will want to retract your statement 'Gravy train' in this instance.

At least TM would leave with something. DD, BJ, IDS, Nige, JRM, etc, would spend hours arguing as to whether to go into the shop, or which shop to go into, if they did go into a shop they would have no idea what to do. If some one came to help them they would then spend hours carping that the helper was not doing it correctly.

Independent Article said:
Brown's people have said that any penny he does get paid will go to charity. “Any money goes to the Office of Gordon and Sarah Brown to support their charitable and public service work. Mr Brown does not receive a penny," a spokesman said.
Can you tell us who Audits the books of the Brown's charity?
Which charitable organisations benefit and what is the public service work?
