Will Musk have shown a video of his sub reaching the caves by then?
I'm looking forward to that more than I am the Tesla self driving itself across America. Both were supposed to be due imminently .... The car driving across America will happen, but typically for Musk it will be years later than he imagines.
If you look back over his rocket development every stage had it's doubters. Building them in the first place, getting them to launch, landing them, reusing them etc. Every stage had it's armchair experts saying it was bks and would never happen.
A couple of times he's made a bold statement and pulled it off. The claim to install the battery solution to Australia's power cuts problem springs to mind. He said on Twitter that he would do it in 100 days or it would be free. He did it, and got paid.
While he need to step away from Twitter rants, on the whole when he says he's going to do something, it gets done.....only about 5 years late

His problem is that he's had and delivered on some good ideas so assumes he's brilliant at everything. He isn't but he'll never see it.The car driving across America will happen, but typically for Musk it will be years later than he imagines.

Its one thing having the good ideas and another knowing when to listen to someone who might know something about it already. Its also about hving a very good team to do the actual work while he has the good ideas/twitter rants.Thesprucegoose said:

What’s the worst outcome her for Elon?
fk all, poxy fine at best.it was against him saying funding was 'secured' (specifically) to take private at certain price.
