Once again you are referring to the EU as it had a life of its own. If it does can I please have a picture.
i can do better than that, here is a short film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CSbkgBbwlo
Junker is head of the commission his influence and power in the EU is very limited.
You miss the important point, the fa t that he is drunk far to often whilst on official duty and that is ‘overlooked’ by his employers tells us much about the care for the electorate.
Whereas the problems with those representing the UK electorate!!!

Touché!

We get the politicians we deserve, at least we can vote them out of office, not so the EU admin’ crew.

Oddly enough, we have more Sinn Fein MPs than UKIP. And they get voted back in even though they refuse to take their seats! Democracy is a funny thing

Laughable really, Mrr T posts a link which discredits a UK politician whilst ignoring the President of the European Commission struggling to negotiate a simple flight of stairs, although it was probably down to an overdose of his medication for sciatica.

You would have thought Claude would have worked out the dosage required by now, it's probably 'one more for the road or stairs'.

Absolutely, nothing to be argued about in this case, other than our question, why is this drunk still pocketing tax payers money.

Looks increasingly like Barnier is happy for a no deal, and Raab like Davis is//was wasting time needlessly.

Brilliant and very accurate , Nail and head ... the people I meet who are anti brexit are mostly
the semi educated lower middle class/management types not very worldly wise
or well read but smug and selfish with quite a lot of the I'm all right jack arrogance about them
The amusing thing is they themselves are being played by the ruling elites, the big banks and multinationals!!
brexit for me was about not being ruled by the EU or people like that ,
I can 100% see why the working poor voted for brexit , mass migration bringing wage stagnation,
being told that's what your getting by people higher up the food chain
and having their communities , schools and medical facilities flooded with eastern Europeans...
Brexit is still the great reset even if May and the rest of her liberal elite water it down !!
'king 'ell....

It is a weirdly overtly transactional summary of the situation.

I look forward to the manifesto of whatever party surfaces as the home of remainers, plus the putative next referendum campaign.

‘Do what you’re told else your money tree will be chopped down and we’ll be laughing’.

Oh hang on.
That actually *has* been the message for the last 2 years.
And weirdly the uneducated, stupid racists aren’t swayed by that argument.

My guess is that the uneducated, stupid racists are actually enjoying the collective nervous breakdown amongst those who apparently believe they are in charge.
I don’t blame them with that level of attitude.

What a stupid post, given that the most ardent leavers are pensioners protected with triple-lock. The rest is not much brighter either, the usual whine of along the lines of 'uneducated, stupid racists'. I'd bet that "racists" were mentioned more by leavers desperately trying yet another thing to get offended about.

There are very few actual racists on these threads and they usually disappear rather quickly.

"We haven't changed our principles" etc

And therein lies the biggest problem with the EU. They don't change. They don't even consider that what they are doing might not be in the best interests of people other than themselves. If just the UK was unhappy at things. You could argue we were wrong, as it happens.

Of course the reality is that they are quite happy to do FTA with non EU countries. Japan most recently. They don't NEED to force 4 Freedoms into a FTA. But they choose to when it comes to one of the wealthiest countries in Europe. It's almost like they have an agenda

Really?
You can prove such a statement, obviously, or was it an opinion you hold?

We can get Tuna to count posts.

I'd like to hear anyone (well almost everyone) who has been called racist on this thread, with a quote.
