Well not everyone is a fan

That Patrick Stewart for one, when the Luvvies are deserting the party it must be bad ...
The problem is the Labour Party is less a broad church and more a combination of types of left winger that hate each other as much as they hate the dreaded Tories.

The Union Left, the proper loony "New Left", the Luvvie Left, etc. fundamentally disagree on some fairly big issues.

Best example was Corbyn's foot-in-mouth moment over Trident subs. The unions want them built as the defence industry is one of the last unionised private industries. But Corbyn is of the "New Left" who are very anti-nuclear weapons. Hence his magnificent idea of building nuclear missile subs but not putting missiles in them.

rofl

And to think Marx used to talk about the inherent contradictions of capitalism.

Social media, disaffected youth, Brexit, austerity.

I’m a young Remain voter but I still can’t stand JC and the thought that Abbott has been allowed to use pens rather than crayons under him is all the proof I need that a Labour government under his leadership would be a disaster.

Too many mugs, (in MY opinion), are in thrall to him, he could shoot the Chief Rabbi, and blow up Buckingham Palace, and they’d defend him for doing it, and carry him on their shoulders to Downing Street.

There are some videos on youtube where Mark Blythe talks about 'Global Trumpism'. Pretty interesting, and ties in with your question.

I just read he'd been a Labour supporter for 73 years...
F me, how old is he I thought?

Then read that Patrick has been a Labour supporter since he was 5 years old. eek

Reminds me of that old adage, 'get 'em while they're young!' hehe

Patrick Stewart, interesting.

A bit of a remainer who thinks JC should be ripping the government apart on their deal-making, and that would be best for the country, as opposed to letting them get on with it with parliamentary oversight. I would have though that constant attacks would be more self-serving than sitting back.

I’m pleased that you seem to see it my way djc, but unfortunately the herd of educationally sub normal zombies who follow their scruffy leader are like a humongous pack of Pavlov’s dogs.
Instead of a bell, Jeremy whispers sotto voce, “tories”, and they all scurry to the ballot box with their little pencils, desperately marking their X against his party’s candidate.

This wreath thing will never end

Independent has been digging through Fatah's Facebook page and discovered an eulogy to Atef Bseiso, which just happens to mention his involvement in Munich..

I can’t wait for Corbyn to win the next general election. The level of fuming on this thread will be legendary. The sooner he displaces May and her vile cronies the better.
It’s not looking very likely though, is it?

Can you afford the hit your wealth will take afterwards, or are you one of those that he’ll be distributing money to?

They have to get ‘em young.

Any adult with half a brain cell realises they’re nothing but an incoherent pile of excrement.
