'The Brexit Party'.

Ukip’s former economics spokeswoman Catherine Blaiklock – who left Ukip a week after Mr Farage – revealed she had applied to register the new party with the Electoral Commission on 11 January.

Former Ukip leader Nigel Farage is prepared to “re-enter the fray” as leader of a new pro-Brexit party in preparation for a general election, should Britain’s departure from the European Union be delayed beyond 29 March.

The Electoral Commission has confirmed the Brexit party had applied to be registered. According to its website, the commission aims to decide on new political party registrations by 1 April.

I don't think the media are doing a very good job of making people realise just how dangerous and damaging a Corbyn government would be.

Mcdonnells tax reforms would decimate the Country, especially small businesses.
The government aren’t doing a very good job of it either.

A fair while ago there was a UKIP lady on the Andrew Marr show, she came across as quite sane and normal, didn't struggle with anything, talked sense, and I was quite impressed and surprised. I was hoping that this Catherine Blaiklock was her. Unfortunately not, having just been googling her, from the articles I've seen so far, she's an ex kipper/tory nutter. Just a few days ago she was saying that food banks cause obesity and that poor people can't cook.

How very disappointing.

Still, they say play the ball and not the man. Let's see who else is with them, big beasts wise.

You really don't want to... I don't think the new Brexit party will show itself until after the result of the current fk up has been resolved one way or another...As for the Lib Dems they have no chance their vote will be split 3 ways...

I've voted Tory in every GE since being able to vote, never once been tempted by UKIP and NF.

I think if the party does get off the ground you'll be in for a surprise

Let us just assume that the Brexit Party comes into being.

Whilst also remembering that just the whiff of UKIPS success made Cameron promise a referendum..

Leave Voting Tory MP's in Leave voting constituencies will be safe. Remain voting Tory MP's in Leave voting Constituencies will be toast. Reselections will be brutal and quick. If you are marginal and a Remainer your days are truly numbered.

Leave Voting Labour MP's in Leave voting constitiencies will be safe as long as the Labour Party guarantee's Brexit.

If Labour under Momentum , and the Remain leaning politburo, do not guarantee Brexit any Labour MP is at risk. There will be carnage. Labour will have most to lose. Corbyn is unelectable and the party has been hijacked.

LibDems may well pick up in cosmopolitan Remain voting areas

And the funny thing is, the Brexit party doesn't really have to do anything, they just have to be there. Like a big, brooding menace.

The threat will be enough.

Just when you think that there are too many variables in the political sphere, up come some more.

Brilliant.

Tony

I think he's saying that even he as a dyed in the wool Tory, he may vote for them if they get their act together.

The surprise is that established Tory voters could defect.

I think. Or I may be due a parrot.

Cheers,

Tony

We will have to agree to disagree, I cannot see either Labour or the Tories candidates being believed if having cancelled Brexit they then proceeded to put leaving the EU in their next manifesto, even the leave voting ones... Once bitten and all that...

No I really do...........I do wonder if a No Brexit will spawn numerous new pro Brexit parties rather than just the one that, IMO, is required to form a real threat to the Labour / Tory stranglehold. So I would want to know as much as I could about each one of them before they get my support wink

I do think you are right about the Libdems though.....well I hope so as I Live in Bath.

There are no parrots currently on a flight path wink

Quite a few Tories have hit the nail on the head recently, Rees-Mogg and Brandon Lewis being two examples.

Both have remarked about Tory voters being betrayed, or feeling as though they have, and will just stay at home in any forthcoming GE, no need now, as there is a reason to get out of bed, if only to vote for a party just the once!

This.

I gave Cameron the benefit of the doubt, and rather than stay in bed made the effort, the only good thing he achieved was the referendum, and despite his pledge to hang around to see through the result, he was gone within hours of it.

May sung all the right songs, but as July displayed, her lyrics whilst previously having been written by the very Dept she set up to write them, May had changed the lyricists without telling the Dept, and the lyrics had been altered beyond all recognition.

The Tories have blown it in my eyes, and with alternative/s now coming into play, my vote will go elsewhere, if not it's a duvet day.

It shouldn't matter as there is nothing wrong with being patriotic............ however you may well be right in that it is likely to be hijacked by the extremist nutters so probably not a good name..........in fact a quick google shows that it appears they have already tried.
