In April 2018 John McDonnell tried to assure the City that Labour did not have a "shadow manifesto" that it was keeping hidden until after an election.
It does.
This is it.

When does the concerted plotting for the violent downfall of the established society become treason? Maybe the security services have taken steps to monitor a perceived threat in the same way as they have for other terrorist groups. It does.
This is it.

John McDonnell praised the rioters who trashed buildings and launched fire extinguishers at the police as "the best or our movement"
Isn't Labours current aim to bring down capitalism?...or is that just the Jewsih capitalists. It's so hard to keep up with the hatred these days.

a chap I've known for quite a few years has turned into an acolyte - lovely bloke he was: now he's all "...capitalism is evil...", "...jeremy will bring down capitalism..." and other similar bks. If he's indicative of the true believers then I can well believe the posting by gizlarocirocfan said:

The joke is, the kind of simpering idiots calling for the downfall of capitalism will be the first to get eaten.fblm said:

The joke is, the kind of simpering idiots calling for the downfall of capitalism will be the first to get eaten. What Gizlaroc says chimes very much with other opinion. I was at a business lunch (I did two last year - normally avoid them at all costs) last year, hosted by Lord Digby Jones. among the many sensible topics he discussed, I was quite shocked, initially, by quite how worried he was about Corbyn and McDonnel. Subsequent reading removed any doubts I had about his opinion. Tenfold.
As Irocfan says though, there are large numbers of (the bien pensant middle classes mostly) Labour supporters who would vote for him and, as Fblm says, they would be the first to have their heads kicked in in the resultant turmoil and chaos.
Fortunately, I also know a good number of dyed in the wool Labour types who take a hugely cynical view of the way their party has been hijacked. So hopefully common sense will prevail.

The silver cutlery goes a bit quiet when you remind people that they are the few rather than the many...
The media sorts on £100k for a 32 hour week with long lunches, perfect fingernails and tickets for 'Glasto' who think Jeremy is going to change the world so that they can buy a whole house in Shoreditch honestly don't believe they are absolutely dead-centre in McDonnell's cross-hairs.Rich enough and soft enough to make a great target. Not rich enough or tough enough to do anything about it.
Ooof, it's going to hit them hard.

There are going to be some confused posters on here when they realise they've been parroting Corbyn lines all these years alfie2244 said:
And there we have it.......leaders of both main parties pretending to take the complete opposite stance on EU membership to the actual stance they truly believe in..........quelle surprise!
It was said much earlier in this thread - about TV leader debates. There is no point.
We have a Remainer pretending to be a Leaver debating a Leaver pretending to be a Remainer.
