A Labour member's claim that "the Jewish community plans to attack our party" was not deemed to amount to antisemitism by party officials, it has emerged.

I’m glad. Voters leaving them in droves, due to their antisemitism. I’m talking about non Jews who feel Labour are the nasty party and feel dirty, voting for them. Look at the polls. They’re fked. https://news.sky.com/story/sir-duncan-michael-labo...

For the few, not the many.

- Sebastian Corbyn works as an adviser for Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell
- He purchased the two-bedroom apartment in East London in 2016 for £162,500
- Other two bedroom flats in the same building have been sold for £650,000
- Tories blasted him as a hypocrite given Labour’s stance against housing associations selling off their stock

I don’t care about the renting out, why should anyone care what someone else does with their property?
That price though, 2 beds in, or close to, Shoreditch for £160k? No chance that’s got to be £500k surely? How’s that work? This stinks to high heaven.
Someone had a right to buy. The council runs schemes periodically. Not sure exactly but they go cheap. That price though, 2 beds in, or close to, Shoreditch for £160k? No chance that’s got to be £500k surely? How’s that work? This stinks to high heaven.
What is odd is how was he eligible for a council flat. How could he be. It stinks. fking hypocrite

Not that I think Airbnb rentals are a good thing though...

Although the question remains as to how he was able to buy it for such a ludicrously cheap price
I thought HMRC would be on to a transaction like that if it has obviously changed hands for such a massive amount under market value. The article does mention the leasehold is low? Could it be because there's only limited amount left on the leasehold, it's not actually worth that much?
Not sure how it works, but if the leaseholder doesn't renew it, he's basically bought the right to won it for 125 years then they'll take it back?
Still, if he can deny someone in need of social housing a property and milk it on Air BnB, I'm sure he's happy.
Would love Jeremy's opinion on it all
