Could be 10x that figure by the time it's all over, when they start to see what a centrist party can offer, I suspect some tories will join in too.

I feel it may be a drip drip chain of events.

Probably right but these thing can gain traction quite quickly, especially as there is still a small matter of stopping brexit.

Well, 7 isn't 100, but it's surprising all the same.

Respect to all of them, I hooe they all get re-elected even though i'm more conservative, I genuinely though that politicians with principles were in the past, and am glad to see I was wrong

Fair play, I don't agree with a lot of their politics but this is a ballsy move in a parliament where toeing the line and furthering your own party career is the preferred approach for most of the troughers.

Not really. They've jumped before they'd be pushed. They'd all be de-selected come next time round.

If they had any balls they'd trigger by-elections...but they wont.

Responding to the decision of a small group of MPs to resign the Labour whip, Jeremy Corbyn MP, Leader of the Labour Party, said:

“I am disappointed that these MPs have felt unable to continue to work together for the Labour policies that inspired millions at the last election and saw us increase our vote by the largest share since 1945.

“Labour won people over on a programme for the many not the few – redistributing wealth and power, taking vital resources into public ownership, investing in every region and nation, and tackling climate change.

“The Conservative Government is bungling Brexit, while Labour has set out a unifying and credible alternative plan. When millions are facing the misery of Universal Credit, rising crime, homelessness and poverty, now more than ever is the time to bring people together to build a better future for us all.”

Hear, hear. I am conservative in my politics but I admire people making a positive stand. Good luck to them.

Rotten coverage by sky and the beeb of this.
Sky cut away to a group of random MPs in the studio for reactions just as some important questions were being asked by hacks and the beeb were caught out by being stuck between programs.
