They'd have said no deal nearly 2 years ago, if you can call that negotiating then fair enough.
I have no dog in the Brexit fight but May and co have presented Britain.Inc as weak, wavering and vulnerable at almost every opportunity. Had Europe known they were dealing with the real possibility of no deal from day one things may have unfolded differently?
I can’t help feeling you are right

If in 2016 the U.K. had said “ right lads we’re off it’s been a blast “

I’d imagine we’d have a deal by now on much more favourable terms
Everything was going fine until June last year when May unleashed the surrender treaty at Chequers, revealing that she and Oily had been playing a different game all along.

I'm quite sure Mrs Thatcher would have not stood for it!

The tin head just before he gave the lecture about how they don’t hate the Jews? (They do really)

I assumed she was some type of relation!

She would not have allowed her position to become sufficiently weakened by her own party that she would have had to offer such a non solution as a referendum...

I'll laugh absolutely near to wetting myself if something comes out about him being inappropriate

It was SWMBO asked me why he always seems to find women to hug where ever he goes.

Absolutely. Should have been preparing for no deal from day one. Rule 1 of any negotiation; be prepared to walk away, or at least do your best to appear to be. Ignoring that though, it's simple good governance to prepare for all reasonably probable outcomes.

Fun with Di and friends in a flat? Won't be anything digital (when was Betamax invented?) but may be a Polaroid or two.

Fabulous picture taken by Christopher Furlong being used by The Guardian and The Observer.
It's simple but just so seedy*:

The first thing that came into my head when I saw him sat down with the EU and his remain 'Brexit' secretary next to him was what the fk is HE doing there? He's not in power, he has no right to be circumventing the negotiating stance of our elected government and anything he said to the EU would have probably damaged further our negotiating position (as if it wasn't bad enough already).
If the Shadow Brexit Secretary being there confused you, I cannot imagine what you thought when you saw Shami Chakrabarti alsongside Jezza, as well.

Presumably, she was there to protect the Civil Rights for the majority who voted Leave.
