Just as you thought the spectre of a Labour administration couldn’t get any worse, along comes a prospective coalition of Labour and SNP. . . . . . . .
I would be delighted with such a partnership.
A coalition of Nationalists and Socialists! scratchchinhehe

With one of the parties in the news for being anti-Semitic.

What could possibly go wrong ?

Oopps, Sky News not on message.

Making sure they show the headline of Corbyn saying 60% of Tory MPs believe Islam is a threat to Western society, then the next headline is about a Muslim being extradited for terrorism.

Yeah, I know they're not all like that, lots ignore bits of the true word of god.

They're pushing the whataboutery very hard indeed. I don't think the message is sticking in the publics consciousness though.

Sounds like a made up stat to me as well.
Where did that data come from and how was it acquired?

I seriously doubt an MP of any kind is going to answer a survey question or respond to an interview and say that (even if they think it).

Ah, so I did a google and its 60% of party members and party activists. Not MP's

It's a bit thought crime. An anonymous survey on your opinions is a lot different to your actions.

Don't worry. According to a LabourList survey, Labour Party members think enough has been done about anti-Semitism. They also want to deselect MPs and John McDonnell is their favourite shadow cabinet member. https://labourlist.org/2019/07/labourlist-readers-...

I do wonder how many in here banging on about perceived Anti-Semitism in the Labour party are as quick to jump all over the Islamophobia and casual xenophobia displayed in these forums on a daily basis.

Cleary no hypocrisy is on show

Ah but that wouldn't happen, because our wee Nicola is forever telling us we in Scotland get (Tory) governments we don't vote for, and she really really doesn't like it because it's undemocratic. She'd have some brass neck to reverse her position and impose a Lab/SNP coalition on the whole UK...

I'd love to see her try to square it though, especially when literally nobody in England/Wales would have voted SNP. At least in the Scottish version the Tories get votes.

"The survey was open from 12.30pm on Sunday 14th July until 12.30pm on Monday 15th July. The results are unweighted and from a self-selected sample of readers. Thank you to all 6,454 readers who took part."

Right - so no possible bias could have been introduced....

Agreed - I've not seen any anti-semitsim but lots of wariness of Islam on these pages.

Good post..........not.
Perceived Antisemitism ?
Islamaphobia ?
Xenophobia ?
So you think it's wrong to dislike Muslims and foreigners but you're blind to the antisemitism in the Labour Party .
And you call out other forum commentators and roll your eyes.
No hypocrisy there then.

"perceived anti-semitism" ?
By all accounts its not "perceived".

And I think your point is a bit 'moot' on the basis that two wrong do not make a right.
Because your post reads that if some are spouting one form of racism then the other side should have no worries spouting another form of racism.

Only 'perceived' Anti-Semitism in your whataboutery post ? You are in good company, Corbyn thinks just like you.

You are a patronising person.
I have only contempt for you and your ignorance.
The antisemitism in the LP is real not perceived.
I am one that believes all forms of racism are abhorrent and I do not pick and choose.

Don't run away, I'm sure a clever chap like you can defend your own words, like the use of ' perceived ' in this case.
