Can someone explain to me why party members and Momentum are so against big business and neo-liberalism, but desperate to stay in the EU?
I can answer this one: they're idiots.

A Labour government would make a no deal Brexit look like a walk in the park.

The interests of this country are secondary to their ideals.

I heard McDonnell on R4 earlier, spouting his cuddly rhetoric.

The bit about employee's being mandatory shareholders of the business.

Does this apply to the swathes of such who consider their side of contract fulfilled, by merely turning up?

I think Jezza has an earpiece in during his interviews with the voice on a loop saying "Don't tell him Pike".
His answers seem to be the same to every question...we will let you know when we are in power.
I have been watching a PBS Documentary about the Vietnam war and the war against Communism one comment from the early 60's resonates today. It basically said the communists have a simple belief you are either with them or you are against them there can be no debate about this or the policies dumped from on high.

Sky have a young woman clearly a devotee who just spouts out figures at 100mph without probably ever checking any of the detail.
One of her big complaints was house prices rising and wanting to curb that so 14 million homes owned by Voters are going to love that policy.

Any sign of personal wealth will be attacked by McDonnel and to put the icing on the cake he will be in charge of the railways, and all the utilities.

We had a referendum and an Election but Labour want another GE and another Referendum its clear how much they respect the democratic process. Would a Labour Gov mean we have a lifetime PM called Jeremy. John McDonnel is ready for 15 years of Labour Government which would mean he and Jezza will be in their 80's supported by the Yoof of the country

I'm sure they'd be happy to keep having general elections every 5 minutes after they got in too.

If another GE is called, then that is the democratic process.

Five and a half hours of discussion and six re-drafts to come up with “If we cannot get a general election, Labour must support all options remaining on the table, including campaigning for a public vote.”

Is that it? Labour are completely split, as most Remainers appear to be, on what a ‘public vote’ will be about - the terms of the Brexit deal or another in/out vote.

I assume that if (and it’s a big ‘if’) Corbyn becomes PM before Brexit then he (and McDonnell) will go for the former option and kick the latter into the bin. That will cause an almighty rift in the Labour Party which would make the Conservatives internal strife pale into insignificance,

T’will be interesting what actually emerges from the Labour conference this week,

I think Momentum will just start shooting unbelievers.

They're giving up on any pretence of civility.

Is this actually genuine? Seriously?

If so it's just "head in hands" stuff. I wish the general public would pick up on this stuff. Palestine is more important than the NHS?! What the hell is this Palestine obsession?!
