Is this actually genuine? Seriously?

If so it's just "head in hands" stuff. I wish the general public would pick up on this stuff. Palestine is more important than the NHS?! What the hell is this Palestine obsession?!
Or the Windrush one, how many people does that realistically affect?

Wonder if they'll be discussing the number who were deported under the Labour government? It does sum up their hypocrisy quite nicely though - utterly desperate to spin the Windrush saga as racist, whilst utterly desperate to spin their anti-Israel stance as not racist.

The BBC saying McDonnel's share grab would mean for Shell the employees would get their £500.00 and the Government would get over £1 billion.
I can see all the big private companies saying oh well I suppose its fair . If they think Brexit will drive some businesses away wait until McDonnel gets his grubby mitts on their Profits

I heard McDonnell on R4 earlier, spouting his cuddly rhetoric.

The bit about employee's being mandatory shareholders of the business.

Does this apply to the swathes of such who consider their side of contract fulfilled, by merely turning up?
Can you imagine the outcry if their shares went down, or became worthless?

Its utterly bizarre. What about all the other problems in the world? What about problems closer to home??
We keep hearing about the labour 'heartlands' of the north, where everybody is 'working class' (not that they actually work, mind....): what proportion of these die-hard labour voters actually give a flying fk about palestine or anywhere else for that matter??

Interesting if this would ever play out. I doubt it would, but I wonder if there's an offical Corbyn/Party line on this?

-

I say interesting because, at least as far as I can tell, there are more anonymous accounts which tweet pro-Corbyn and Momentum messages than there are anonymous accounts tweeting pro-Theresa May/Tory tweets.

Would that not also have to extend to forums such as this one? How would they apply this rule to everyone outside the UK? All those pro-Corbyn Facebook groups who spew out Antisemitic rantings would be a bit worried as well

I'm not sure people would worry about a few promised shares when they're stuck without a job and inflation's out of control.

Have Labour voters started trolling their own party or what? This is nuts, or fixed by Momentum - who are also nuts.

If only the social media platforms had some sort of handy blocking facility...

ETA: I'm currently waiting for this thicko's speech - it always gives me a laugh! The conference chair is picking people from the audience to speak and asked for 'the lady on the far left' - like that's going to f**king narrow it down!

What do you mean ‘nobody is quite sure’?

Millions of us are absolutely certain; today’s Labour Party, led by Corbyn and McDonnell, will definitely, unquestionably, 110%, leave the country a wasteland.

Doesn’t mean they won’t get in, we have a huge number of pretty stupid citizens theses days. But don’t let’s pretend that it’s not known how things will end up.
Nobody under the age of 40 can remember/has had a socialist government. So while the older generations can look back at experience, anyone under 30 has known the post-2008 mess, a Conservative government which, while it has sorted the economy to some degree, has hardly managed to bring any 'good times'; Brexit (which most people under 40 disagree with anyway), and the same government which isnt really that liked, making a hash of the negotiations.

If Labour could put together a half decent front bench they would have been in years ago.

Not sure I agree with that. Lots of people can remember the SNAFU of the economy under Blair/Brown.

Just made the mistake of watching the Labour conference on the tele, some woman in a funny hat Jeezusss...... I fully understand why they have a safe space. My only worry is that it is far too small to fit everyone from the conference hall in it.

They weren't socialist, they were Tory lite, according to the faithful.
