These prospects of winning an election are small, but these prospects of winning an election are far away.

Ah, I see - thanks.
But for that to work, it would mean there's a sizeable portion of brits who are anti-semite and labour is appealing to that. It's a bit prisonplanet.

Corbyn always appears as a reluctant leader caught in the tides of a socialist resurgence.

Kinnock "Well alright" thumbup
Corbyn and Kinnock are very alike in the sense of have a lack of self control in unforeseen circumstances. Remember back in the 1980's when Kinnock fell over on the surf on a beach somewhere (perhaps it was at conference time?) and immediately turned round to the observing press and gave them a two-fingered salute? That was a very definite loss of control which I think showed a rather deep seated insecurity show its self.

Corbyn is the same. He tried to physically attack a journalist for daring to ask a question (had to be disuaded by his crew) and definitely lost his rag in an interview with Chrisnan Guru Murthy. At the time of Kinnock I heard it said by a lot of people - "Is this the man you want with access to nuclear weapons"? The single gesture cost him a very great deal, possibly an election. Well, the same should be asked of Corbyn. He is not the pacifist he claims. He's a remarkably dangerous individual.

Labours glorious leader is heading off to Brussels to meet Barnier on Thursday.

Just what the fk for......?

While the EU think there's a chance of another referendum and Brexit reversal, we'll never get anything.
Because Corbyn sees it as a chance to get into power.

Edited to add: He'd better spend the journey there brushing up on his 6 tests.

And by backing another referendum Corby may have just kissed goodbye to being PM and done the Tories a massive favour.

He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Barnier that is just not on. He will probably come out of the meeting with a piece of paper in his hand claiming a deal is ready to be signed as soon as we have a Labour Government
