Don’t be worried! I wasn’t saying that she would be a good leader but pointing out that she has certain “qualities” lacking in many others and I questioned who would be better. That doesn’t equate to an endorsement. Having said that I would rather have her as my m.p. than most of the Labour lot .
I do understand where you're coming from on this and I actually find that she is the only Labour front bench politician I have any respect as she isn't a hypocrite with a hidden agenda like the others for but she's hopeless

A job for everyone.

I wonder how many will be impressed with the proportionate cut in wages.

The additional costs of employing more workers to do the same amount fewer workers presently do.
Pensions, etc, etc.

Decreased competitiveness.

More likely to destroy job imho.
I wonder how many Labour supporters will be impressed with having to get a job?

My late father in law was a far left Labour supporter. Never worked a day in the entire time I knew him. He would have been apoplectic if he had to get a job!

I realise he's not representative of all Labour supporters, but there are quote a few who want something for zero effort, or at the very least a slice of someone else's effort.

Sorry, but surely you need at least an O level to cope with running the education system?
Some proof of basic competence in maths would be useful (insert Abbott joke here).
I'm sure her heart's in the right place (Biology?) but to me an Education Secretary with no proven record of education somehow seems a bit of an odd idea?

They have confirmed they will negotiate a good four day week deal that protects workers, but will campaign against it in a vote.

She was a big winner from the huge spate of resignations and firings from Corbyn early front benches.

I wouldn’t want her as a primary school governor.

Surprised Watson hasn't mounted a serious challenge for the leadership by now. Can only think he is intimidated by the McDonnell/Momentum faction.
Keeping his head down after the Operation Midland scandal?
He has been a master of keeping his head down when it suits, but I see he is making a (for him) bold speech today.
Tom Watson is playing a blinder, so far - gets to besmirch others under priviledge in HoC then retreats behind flimsy excuse, can openly disagree with the leader on policy, has journo's eating out of his hand with the weight loss story whilst simultaneously siding with Mosely to shut down freedom of the press. And he gets away with all of it.

IIRC he was elected directly by the membership, so he can pretty much show two fingers to any part of the party until the members see someone else they prefer.

Rumours that Keir Starmer hs been issued with side arm, a crack team of ex SAS bodyguards, a panic button and a body double have been dismissed as "the work of a tory led press" by momentum member Piotr Killinsky.

Killinsky went on to say that recent reports of Keir Starmers comments about Jeremy Corbyn to business leaders in Sunderland were either complete misquotes, taken out of context or that Keir was a traitorous right wing Tory Plant who was about to defect to the Lib Dems

Killinsky further added that Mr Starmer may be going on a fact finding mission abroad and may not be seen for some time

Keir was certainly right that Corbyn is toxic to Labour Party support. Heaven forbid though that the looney left find a plausible stooge to replace him. Corbyn has a key role, keeping the nutters out of office until hopefully some way can be found to return them all to the lunatic fringes of politics rather than the opposition front bench.

Getting people, even students, to vote for you is fair play though to be honest. Pi55es on Momentum whining that The Guardian is anti-Corbyn though.

The chap mentioned, Ali Milani, fits in just fine with the Labour / Momentum way.

Crazy ain't it. I clicked on a left wing video channel the other day on Youtube (zero books) to be greeted by an advert for an Israeli anti-tank missile system!

I was more worried by the fact that Youtube think I might want to purchase missiles than anything else, but still certainly one of the most bizarre adverts I have seen on social media.

I use a browser that blocks adverts.

I also use pop up block and adblock.

Can you block the lead in adverts on Youtube videos with a non-subscription account?
