Where are the studies showing cooling to offset this avalanche of studies showing warming?
You mean the models that forecasted the last 2 years of cooling? Indeed, where are they? There is certainly no cloak-and-dagger conspiracy; it's simply a coincidental and convenient conflation. No more, no less.

Politically speaking (for this is the politics thread), it seems the headlines more strongly report AGW when it's a bit warmer for a few days, but if it's colder for 2 years it's just weather. If it's really just a case of out-of-kilter semantics causing people to question the veracity of CAGW, then they really need to sort their PR out if they want to appeal to people that can think for themselves.

Why are you now trying to make out you didn’t?
Your campaign to get rid of anyone on the other side is both obvious and pathetic.
I reported Paddy and openly said so (to you in fact) in here!

No surprise, you're not the only denier with this failing.
Your posting history is also suspect considering how you came on here so full of bravado.

Volume 1 of this thread from over 7 years ago.
You can either accept that I reported LT or not. I don't care but stop accusing others when somebody has put their hand up.
You know what? I also reported the sun for one of their article to the PCC (now defunct) my complaint was used as the lead and upheld, the sun rermoved the offending story and Clarkson wrote a follow up refuting the original.
I've been on these threads way before you were but you know what, I don't try to throw that in anybodies face.

I said Chaotic system can't be predicted.
The oceans are a chaotic system. Is it impossible to say when the tide will come in?I found this interesting
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-467...
"The new analysis of government figures comes from the environmental analysis website Carbon Brief.
Its author says EU product standards on light bulbs, fridges, vacuum cleaners and other appliances have played a substantial part in reducing energy demand.
Provisional calculations show that electricity generation in the UK peaked around 2005. But generation per person is now back down to the level of 1984 (around 5 megawatt hours per capita)."
Let's assume this is true, it is really good news. We have made a difference.
However we will soon have more and more things moving to be electrically powered off the grid. Cars being the driving force of course.
Can our electrical infrastructure cope?
Given nuclear is not having it's day in the sun
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-46900918
I do wonder whether government guidelines are out of sync with what we will need. Interesting times ahead.

you know tidal predictions are constantly revised and even then are often out by some distance time and height of tide wise ? monday night the high tide where i was fishing was about half an hour past the predicted time and about 0.5 m below the predicted height due to the high pressure and other conditions prevalent at the time.durbster said:

Even more good news. Plagues of jellyfish - not as warm as previously thought?
Collating global datasets of jellyfish that go back decades, Prof Kylie Pitt has found that jellyfish increase in numbers for just over 10 years, then decrease, then increase again, in a 22-year cycle.
What a coincidence. Correlation isn't causation but at least there's a strong correlation unlike holidaying carbon dioxide which has been increasing for decades, not increasing then decreasing followed by another increase etc.
The prof reckons there's no definitive proof that tropical stinging jellyfish are moving due to thermal considerations, as 'relocated' specimens will originate from ballast water.

You say you reported LT, so what? You barely register on this thread. I could care less what you did 7 years ago. What we do know is that Paddy was reported by dicky and then banned. Now LT is banned. Then you turn up after 7 years wandering in the desert by the look of your posting history.
