wattsupwithdeeps is in full turbospam mode this morning. Those evening classes round turb's house are really starting to pay off for him now. I haven't seen spamming on that scale since...well...the list fiasco a couple of days ago.

The Beeb propoganda in full flow

Big rise in atmospheric CO2 expected in 2019

Met Office researchers expect to record one of the biggest rises in atmospheric concentrations of CO2 in 2019.
Every year, the Earth's natural carbon sinks such as forests soak up large amounts of CO2 produced by human activities.
But in years when the tropical Pacific region is warmer like this year, trees and plants grow less and absorb smaller amounts of the gas.
As a result, scientists say 2019 will see a much bigger CO2 rise than 2018.....................continues

Even managed a guessing word in the title!! Looks like a story someone invented while having thier breakfast !!

Closing paragraph though !!

"The Met Office scientists say that it doesn't always follow that a record CO2 concentration will lead to a record global temperature in 2019, as there are many natural factors that can impact the final figure."

Opps!! Never mimnd, it's the headline that counts

Models flunk again; not news but with politicians believing as many do, it's politics.

Political blog Climate Depot said:
Sea level expert Geologist Dr. Nils-Axel Mörner ridiculed (Al Gore's claim) that Florida would be half covered by rising seas. “These are models. They are doing it wrongly, and this is lobbying. Geologic facts are on one side, lobbying and models are on the other side.” Morner added, “The rapid rise in sea levels predicted by computer models simply cannot happen.” ...

Geologist Dr. Don Easterbrook: “If you look at the total global sea level from about 1850 until the present time it’s been rising at a fairly constant rate, rather slow—about 7 inches a century.... It’s about 1 to 2 mm a year so if you’re 50 years old you experienced a sea level rise about 3 ½ inches and you probably didn’t even notice it,”

Former NASA Climatologist Dr. Roy Spencer: “Sea level rise, which was occurring long before humans could be blamed, has not accelerated and still amounts to only 1 inch every 10 years." ... Spencer on Miami flooding: “That flooding is mostly a combination of (1) natural sea level rise (I show there has been no acceleration of sea level rise beyond what was already happening since the 1800s), and (2) satellite-measured sinking of the reclaimed swamps that have been built upon for over 100 years in Miami Beach.”

Apologies for the link but (NOAA website is down due to US Gov shutdown so secondary source has to be used). What warming looks like in the USA below:

So 73% polled say "It's happening".......

Anyone with access to the FT can check this out for more details.

European Airline Emissions Grow Despite EU Climate Targets.

Increases in flight numbers, aircraft size and distance flown drive up CO2 (emissions)

After so many flights from Paris it's hardly surprising whistle

Jinx posted a table cherrypicked covering just a 14 year period. hehe

I simply looked for the first legible one I could see covering a longer period.

Here’s another more up to date

Looks even worse. You should have stuck with the “cherrypicked” one I posted earlier. hehe

Take your pick of start and end dates smile cherry optional.

NCDC decadal change in annual mean temperatures across the states 2000-2010 where only one region of nine (NE) has a positive trend.

There's no established causality to humans in the one warming region and no established causality to humans for the cooling either.

On a longer timescale, only two years beat 1934 for annual mean temperature in the United States and they were El Niño years - 'carbon dioxide on holiday'.

Bold- which if showed a serious and absolute increase in temp would be used as absolute proof by the faith.

I posted the USCRN data (all of it that I could find). Now if you were paying attention the USCRN data is the high quality data from the best sited and most reliable weather stations. So no not "cherry picked" - the most accurate data we have available. It was a comment to show that perhaps polling and perception are not the best measures to use.
