How dare you?

How dare millions of people strive for many years to make a better world for this girl to be born into. Perhaps she'd prefer some backward, medieval sthole where her life expectancy is about 7 years.

They are pushing this too far. It's one thing to point out that things need addressing but to start berating and belittling the very people you are appealing to is to leave the path of wisdom.

This will be lapped up by certain sections, it is quite surreal.

Greta: "How dare you? You have stolen my dreams and my childhood'

As yet it's unclear as to whether or not this teenage tirade was directed towards her parents.

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/video/2019...

If that's what it's come to and all the world has got then perhaps we are doomed.

Quite an extraordinary hissy fit, but then again she's just a child, why is she even allowed to be exposed/used like this.

They do want that. They are importing that en mass.

The last time I heard a rant like that was 20 years ago when I grounded my 14 year old daughter for being late home... rofl

I am enjoying the climate emergency media storm at the moment. Greta is very forthright in her demands and expectations. The politicians have been beat down and must deliver. CO2 must drop, and rapidly. To achieve that CO2 taxes will need to rocket...no half measures...it’ll be interesting to see how the public will accept that.

Emissions may well drop if the public accepts a decade or ten reversal in quality of life at great cost , which will need to get underway to be stopped, but atmospheric levels - on which the junkscience and its political offspring are based - may or may not drop. As folks will know the human perturbation to annually cycled carbon dioxide is a small 5% with sources and sinks far greater than us which remain in play.

It's helpful that, after 30+ years of false predictions of doom, even more far-fetched claims are being made in the name of 'the science',as this latest crop of claptrap will eventually return to plague its inventors.

ETA as for the public accepting it, totally agree but I'd go further and ask if politicians will accept the Full Greta as far less has led to far more in political terms, remember this from not long ago.

The more the alarmists up the ante, the more they stand to lose. If the climate doesn’t play ball, and if millions don’t die, and soon... it will damage their credibility, but probably not beyond repair, based on a history of failed predictions.

yes

Cooling is the new warming, more snow less snow, more hurricanes fewer hurricanes, more deaths fewer deaths, predictions of 'there will be weather' everywhere (!) the double-headed coin of global warming bunk will claim a win every time.

Then just think of all the fun we'll have along the way frown

Hera's something similar that may have even more in depth background.

http://www.theartofannihilation.com/category/the-m...

This is part 1 of a 6 part article with a couple of additional items.

Very interesting about both Greta (much is aligned with the article referenced above), her family and a number of other actors in the play.

For background about the way the global corporate NGO network is being used it's interesting to read all 6 articles when one has the time. The interconnection and funding processes and source are discussed. Whether correctly assessed I have no idea but the evidence provided seems to be persuasive.

2 words of warning.

Firstly when reading the first article (but not the later ones) I saw a few un-welcomed pop-ups of the old type that were rather annoying. So make sure you have your anti-virus etc., running just in case. A scan as a precaution came back clean. I think the popups only appear when inadvertently clicking on the area surrounding the text when attempting to drag the scroll bar without checking the position of the cursor - so if worried avoid doing that.

Secondly the writer once in a while throws in a paragraph that suggests a very leftist eco viewpoint. Don't let that put you off reading the articles they are much too interesting to miss and perhaps shed some light on the oft asked question about why 'deniers' seem to lack enough funding to counter the 'believers'.

If you want a whole interpretation of the Greta, Jamie Margolin and AOC (and Extinction Rebellion) appearance from 'nowhere' then reading all the articles in the series may offer a basis for understanding. Many of the linked videos are also interesting.

Possibly, she might have gone off script coached by her actor father and bandwagon
Jumping left wing singer mother.

My bet she’ll go quiet for a while because this might backfire. When I say she, I mean her soros funded handlers.

It really is incredible how one 16 year old girl has so many old men so rattled. And it's always a certain type of man too.

I keep reading that word for word on Twitter.

Got your programming like a good NPC.

As usuall without any comprehension. This is not a 16 year old girl this is a propaganda stunt by many players.

They are just abusing a disabled girl for their purposes. And look it’s working

Here see this girl cry, now give me all your money. China? What about them here this girl is pulling a face.

I think she is to be applauded. Go girl! I am also sceptical of alarmist climate science.
What type of man am I?

To me it shows you how much the media is in its own daft world and completely out of touch your normal person on the street , It may work in your metropolitan middle class world. But for me having to be honest a wired spoilt 16 year old preaching at me just has the opposite effect.

Agree

Especially when they basically throw a tantrum. Why was she even there ffs.

Oh yeah this is why.

“We will use the youth to bring order to the Reich. world. When we control our youth, we will control the German people"

Not brain washed at all. Oh no.
This constitutes an attack these days....
