Good news for Buckingham residents who will finally get a vote in the GE.
You mean the opportunity to vote Labour.

Well yes, I mean to vote for labour or the lib Dems. When I lived there I had the choice of Bercow, Farage, the BNP or a bloke dressed as a dolphin.

I quite liked the look of his missus though.
Really?

Yes, spitting abuse as you're dragged away by two security guys is always such a tempting look.
10/10 would bang.

What a midden. lick

As did I, I had to check Wiki, which was interesting if only for this:

' A former hardline right-winger who changed his views after becoming an MP'

Bercow certainly got around as an MP, Lambeth / Motherwell / Bristol and a toss up between representing Buckingham or Surrey Heath are on his CV amongst other things.
He was never MP for Motherwell. I don't think Motherwell has any Tories in it at all.

Your right he didn't, he was unsuccessful in his campaign to serve as the Tory MP for Motherwell South in the 87 GE, which was also the case in Bristol South in 92.

The Tories managed to get two Councillors elected in Motherwell last year so there must be a few...smile

Probably SNP types ticking the wrong box. They're not the sharpest bunch.

Shouldn't a resignation be an instantaneous event, other wise it seems to be a
planned retirement?

Which predated the report on bullying as far as I am aware.

A number of MPs are happy to keep him in place, no matter how despised he has become, because they think he will help them derail Brexit.

Why they wont replace him with a labour MP who opposed Brexit is a bit of mystery though to me.

if an example of the word’s usage has to be that obscure then it’s not a very good word
