The answer will be neither, humans are (barring a few eidetic savants) demonstrably incapable of remembering a situation clearly with any level of reliable accuracy.

They are even worse at separating true from false memories.

Pretty moving to watch, shows how the wrong decision can have major impacts on everybody.
Good job by the Police to show who was driving.

Could someone explain why Danny had such a harsh sentence? Because he let him drive or for saying he was driving?

Wasn't expecting much from this but it became quite gripping part way through.

Yeah, I thought the sentence for the one that wasn't driving at the time was excessive considering lots of other drivers get away with mowing down pedestrians and cyclists with just a suspended sentence or a couple of years behind bars.
