At the mid term rallies there was people waving signs saying "FINISH THE WALL".

trump want's his monument.
He told reporters at the White House Saturday that this would be a "good time" for a government shutdown if he doesn't get funding from Congress for his border wall.
"I think probably, if I was ever going to do a shutdown over border security, when you look at the caravans, when you look at the mess, when you look at the people coming in, this would be a very good time to do a shutdown," Trump said.
Trump added, however, that he didn't think a shutdown would "be necessary, because I think the Democrats will come to their senses."

Mind you he also said that the US military will remain at the US-Mexico border "as long as necessary," suggesting that the 5,900 troops deployed to the border could stay there past December 15. We know thats not true as they are planning for the withdrawal now.

Those troops mostly put up some barbed wire as a symbolic gesture

Pompeo's Saudi plan includes an option to pin Khashoggi's murder on an innocent member of the ruling family in order to insulate those at the very top. That person hasn't been chosen, & Saudi leaders are reserving the plan in case pressure on MbS becomes too much.

Lets remember that he went two weeks after the killing, when Saudi were still denying, but the turks had released their evidence.
Remember also that the day after his meeting with MbS, Pompeo told journalists that the Saudis didn't want to talk about the facts in Khashoggi’s case and neither did he. "I don’t want to talk about any of the facts,” Pompeo said. “They didn’t want to either."

More Lies. The US Secretary of State hand-delivered a plan to the Saudi ruling family to help them cover up the murder of a US journalist.

There's also reports that SA were prepared to hand over Gulen (that same dissident Gen Flynn was plotting to secretly rendition) over to Erdogan to get Turkey to stop pressing the Saudis and releasing further incriminating evidence.
The champions of democracy (as long as it doesn't affect the price/supply of oil).

One question only.
A followup allowed at the discretion of, well, whoever is holding the press conference.

If an honest answer isn't forthcoming, does re-asking the question constitute a 2nd question?
The idea is that soon only PRAVDA (AKA FOX News) will be allowed to ask questions.

It wouldn't surprise me if they decide who can ask the questions and ignore those they don't like.

This is interesting, the current vote counts for the house

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WxDaxD5az6...

So the Dems have around 8.5m more votes that the GOP. The GOP, even if they won, still pulled less votes than in the 2016 election. I can't spot one who increased their %

Way to miss the point regarding Ivanka Trump and Emails.. It's not as though she is standing to be President.

Cool - I wonder which other rules are allowed to be broken if you're not standing for office? Especially if daddy made them the central part of his campaign, made up a chant for the believers...

No, she may have done the same thing but unlike Clinton she isn't standing for President.

I can't stand the Republicans but it's like comparing apples to oranges.

It's arguably worse because Clinton wasn't actually in power when she was running. If it's from her time in government then it's very similar to Ivanka.

Ivanka's in government.
She's the Presidents closest advisor.
Has more influence over him than anyone.

And don't forget her father and his supporters consider it a crime worthy of prison.

No it is not. Its comparing Oranges to Satsumas. The differences are not "that" great.

The difference is not that great - and it should be noted that the GOP were after Clinton for emails she sent while secretary of state and before the presidential campaign.

This is massive case of hypocrisy.

Comparing apples to oranges, you say? When I saw the representative of Republicans Abroad use that exact phrase on Sky News a few moments ago it struck me as the sort of phrase spin doctors press representatives to utter over and over again.

What a glorious coincidence I now read it here!
