The drumming guy was a Vietnam vet, fought for his country (well, the country the early immigrants let him have anyway...).

When you dig in to what Nathan Phillips, the Omaha Elder, has been through and what he does with the Native American youth, how dignified he was at that moment and how upset but calm he was afterwards in contrast to the young kids who have probably every advantage in life travelling to protest about controlling women's bodies for some prehistoric reason they don't understand, sponsored by the school (a fking school trip to protest abortion - how fked is that?) that should be teaching at least some basic values....I give up.

I was listening to a podcast the other day about the biggest threat to the Black community not being white supremacists but absent fathers - 75% of kids in that population born out of wedlock - 5 times more likely to end up dead, in prison or on drugs than families with fathers [this was a Black guy saying all this, which makes it talk-aboutable I guess...) and then I see these kids who probably have decent homes fathers and mothers, clubs and activities, money and comfort and I fking wonder.

I don't know why this has spiked me, maybe my grumpy toothache, but....well, what can you say.

A quick search (consisting of looking out the window and then checking Texas Department of Transportation traffic cameras) found no walls barring anyone from San Antonio. In fact, the city is often known as one of the most welcoming and friendly cities in Texas.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg said Saturday that San Antonio is indeed one of the safest's cities in the U.S.
"San Antonio is one of the safest big cities in the nation," Nirenberg said. "The Express-News reported last year that crime is at a 30-year low here. The plummeting crime rate is due to the hard work being done by the brave men and women of the San Antonio Police Department."
The mayor did not comment on the city's wall. Probably because there isn't one.
San Antonio remains about 150 miles from Mexico. The effectiveness of a wall around San Antonio - real or imagined - to keep America's southern border safe remains unclear.
The only wall of any notoriety in San Antonio's history are the walls of the Alamo. And unfortunately, those didn't work out too well for us last time.

The Mueller team statement IS very carefully worded, though.

The article mentions documents being shown to the reporters, essentially a leak from the SDNY, not Mueller. Mueller never leaks and he made the unprecedented decision to clarify this.

I think this is that Mueller had to respond when the BuzzFeed story was pushing Congress to move quickly to impeach. Mueller needs more time to finish properly and they cannot have Congress jumping the gun.

Clever play by Mueller showing even-handedness and thereby boosting his credibilty - kindly helped by Trump who took it at face value by responding in his usual thoughtless manner.
