The idea of the USA having a "President Castro" is deliciously ironic.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii
Former Rep. John Delaney of Maryland
Former congressional candidate Richard Ojeda of West Virginia
Businessman Andrew Yang of New York
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York
Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts

According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump and Cohen pressured CNBC in 2014 to place Trump higher in its list of top biz leaders after Cohen failed to manipulate rankings. Cohen called CNBC and threatened that Trump would sue. He said CNBC was "ignoring the will of the people."

Weirdly, I have some sympathy for these kids. Not for their actions in this instance, as they're clearly being idiots, but for the system they're in now, the world view it's going to give them and the manipulation they're going to be exposed to as a result. They're just units on the production line that those in power over them want to protect. They're being fed a subtle and insidious form of hatred, and whilst they're clearly never going to want for anything, if that world view takes root, they're going to be entitled and angry at everyone forever. They're the next generation of Brett Kavanaughs.

I agree with this.

Kids don't realise they are being dicks when they are bred in a school with that environment - a school which they won't have chosen to go to, and probably won't have ever thought to question. After all its in the bible... etc
That school environment also seems to permit this sort of thing:-

There's something seriously wrong with that being normalised by a school.

I thought trump said he's sorted the North Korea problem. Instead a new report finds another undisclosed North Korean missile site, says there are 19 more.

With a second U.S.-North Korea nuclear summit looming in February, researchers have discovered a secret ballistic missile base in North Korea — one of as many as 20 undisclosed missile sites in the country, according to the researchers’ new report.

The Kim regime has never disclosed the existence of the Sino-ri Missile Operating Base to the outside world. Ballistic missiles are the primary delivery mechanism for North Korean nuclear warheads.

Hum - this sounds familiar
Some Trump administration officials and U.S. allies are nervous because there is still so little known about what Kim and Trump talked about when they met in Singapore last year. Only the interpreter knows, the official said.

Russia's made a new long range cruise missile. Russia had denied developing what U.S. intelligence calls the SSC-8/9M729 cruise missile system.

However, NATO diplomats said Moscow did now recognize its existence, but argued that its range was within the 500-km limit set by the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces treaty.
