The Trump Organization said Sunday that it had donated the company’s 2018 profits from its business with foreign governments to the U.S. Treasury, the second year in a row that President Trump’s company has made such a move in an attempt to avoid running afoul of an anti-corruption provision of the Constitution.

The donation was for $191,538, up from last year’s donation of $151,470, according to a check dated Feb. 20 and made out to the Treasury, a copy of which the company provided. The check was signed by the president’s eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, who are running the company while their father is in office.

I mean, ignoring the fact that people have been indicted, pled guilty, There are actual crimes, and they’re recent. Manafort’s bank fraud offenses happened mostly in 2016, as he was strapped for cash and taking an unpaid Trump campaign job, just as his old mate Putin wanted sanctions lifted. His witness tampering conspiracy with Kilimnik was in early 2018.

They’re not providing any accounting that either discloses their actual receipts or who’s getting paid out of those funds before they’re denominated as profits.

Also, creepy porn lawyer was the lawyer of the girls so I actually remembered that bit correctly. He was trying to make a name for himself at the time and there was some hoax going on that he fell for which is why he was on my radar

Yes, I have seen a meme that posted on Twitter which has a year calendar projecting various trumps as presidents for the next several decades, as far as Barron… It’s fascinating to know were are walking amongst folks who think that is a desirable hope. It’s a wonder they are able to get by with just basic stuff like feeding themselves, doing up their shoes, etc.

There's no disdain, just nothing on TV that I enjoy watching. Also, most of the news networks have youtube channels so the clips end up filtering down.

TV broadcasting seems archaic, set times when you can watch specific things etc. You can have it all at your fingertips online at any time you want

According to the Wall Street journal, the House Judiciary Committee believes it has evidence Trump asked Matt Whitaker, at the time the acting AG, whether Manhattan U.S. attorney Geoffrey Berman could regain control of his office's probe into Michael Cohen and his real-estate business. Trying to stop and obstruct the investigation into the trump organisation.

Firewalled story, but bound to be repeated elsewhere today
