Has the full report been released or is this just Barr's interpretation? He may be biased! Congress may want more action smile

Probably. laugh

However, nothing on this topic will ever, ever top unrepentant and his year long carry on against Trump, Trumpites and his predictions regarding the election outcome and then his immediate, subsequent disappearance. Sure, the media was calling for Hillary, but not like he was, his grandstanding and carrying on was next level stuff, abusive, superior and down right rude.

Im 30, nearly 31, so I have grown up well and truly surrounded and embedded in the modern internet culture; social media, forums, video games etc etc, but that flounce is a solid contender for the most excellent thing that I have ever witnessed on the internet, it was
hilarious, disgraceful and cringe worthy all at once. 10/10.

This is my current view from a bar in deep Texas - Trump is VERY well regarded in these parts - and I have friends from many of the ‘fly over’ states who are very happy too. He will be re-elected.

Yes, I understand there is a certain type with whom he is popular.

ETA Your photo is very dark, what is it we are supposed to be seeing there?

Judging by the fact he’s President you could almost say that that ‘type’ is the majority.

25.7% of eligible voters voted for trump in the 2016 election.

I think we can all at least agree that is not a majority?

A quick glance at at the numbers who voted for and against him might be educational for you.

Saying that I wouldn't bet against his re-election, but I've been saying that for quite some time now.

Interesting article on how Barr's letter spins the report to protect Trump

Christ, that is a depressing read. Today, trump crows and gloats and so do his brainless followers, whilst I think just about anyone who has been even half awake these last couple of years knows that there is no way that the orange conman is entirely innocent in all of this. Helsinki alone was indicative of something here being, very, very wrong.

The report has to be made available in full. Nothing else will do, surely? And if he is indeed squeaky clean, then great, he and his followers have the right to crow and gloat.

Even Guiliani said the report was "better than expected", not "we always knew the president was innocent".

Trump simply has others to do his dirty work for him. In the Trump Tower meeting for example. He didn't attend but he definitely knew what was going on and it wasn't about Russian adoptions. rolleyes

Worked all weekend, went to bed at 9pm, knowing that you all would have it covered.

Trump has nothing to fear now then? So can release all of Muellers report

Barr has made the decision there was no collusion, which we know is wrong. Manafort gave the trump campaigns polling data to Kilimnik, donald jnr discussed getting dirt from the russians in the trump tower meeting, Stone interacted with Gucifer 2.0, the GRU office who had the data stolen from the Dems, and with Assange for Wikileaks to dump the data at an appropriate time (when trumps grab em by the pussy tape broke), the 100+ Trump associate contacts with Russians

They'll be more to come as Muellers full report is sought by the House and Congress

Schumer and Pelosi: "Given Mr. Barr’s public record of bias against the Special Counsel's inquiry, he is not a neutral observer and is not in a position to make objective determinations about the report."
"Congress requires the full report and the underlying documents so that the Committees can proceed with their independent work, including oversight and legislating to address any issues the Mueller report may raise. The American people have a right to know."

Senate Judiciary member Richard Blumenthal: "The need for transparency and full disclosure is even more urgent now. We need to know all of the underlying evidence concerning any wrongdoing that occurred, not just the Attorney General’s conclusions. Key questions remain."

Feinstein: "AG Barr's 4-page summary of the Mueller report is inadequate and demonstrates why Congress needs to obtain the full report and underlying evidence ... Congress must do its job and determine whether Pres. Trump abused his authority and what next steps are appropriate."

Senator Richard Blumenthal, went on MSNBC last night. He sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee

“This letter is elegantly but brazenly devious. What Barr has done is essentially to frame the message before the facts are available, before the substance is accessible. He has in effect created headlines that will create a trap for all of us.”
“The crime of obstruction is designed to prevent destruction of evidence, whether it’s witness tampering or document destruction. So the finding here that there was insufficient evidence to establish collusion may be the result of that obstruction.”

He also noted that Barr limited his collusion claims to the Russian government itself, as opposed to Russian government representatives.

“One question I have, which really hasn’t been explored, is why the Special Counsel did not force an interview with Donald Trump. You mentioned earlier that there have been thousands of subpoenas. Why not a subpoena for Donald Trump? I have great respect for Bob Mueller, but I said from the very start that Trump has to be interviewed under oath, just as other presidents have been before.”

I wonder if the House Judiciary Committee will do that now.

The other point as well is that for months House Democrats have publicly stated that if the Trump regime tried to bury the Mueller report they would simply subpoena Mueller to publicly testify about what his report says. That would be much quicker than the legal battle to get the report

His predictions of the outcome of the election were wrong (just). However his view of Trump as a slimeball par excellence has been proved, time and again. The man is a turd, the sooner he leaves Public office the better.

Or I wonder how much the WaPo ( or rather its owner) would pay for a leaked copy smile
I wonder too exactly how thick it is?

In the end I can see the collusion not being enough but like Al Capone, the money stuff will bring him down

Wow, I've flounced, I'm repugnant, abusive, superior and downright rude? Just by posting links to news items?

Nothing like a righteous trumpette right now.
Did we really expect a trump appointee, Barr, to do anything different?
