With 34 convictions arising from the investigation, it was more than worthwhile.

All the indictments so far have been unrelated to the alleged "collusion" - three separate investigations have so fair turned up nothing.

The "collusion" hoax was started by the fake Steele dossier, which was paid for by the DNC, and was then used to obtain an illegal FISA warrant. In the meantime, the head of Obama's cyber-security team - Susan Rice - was told to stand down rather than investigate Russian cyber attacks.
You got hoax and fake but for the hat trick you needed witch hunt too...

My understanding is that the "Fake" Steele dossier has been proven correct - is that not the case?

So much wrong in that - where to start?

Much as though trumpettes don't like the truth, the Steele dossier was originally paid for by the GOP. Fusion GPS were engaged early in the 2016 cycle “to provide research on multiple candidates in the Republican presidential primary.” It wasn't until later Marc Elias, Dem campaign lawyer engaged Fusion GPS and it's then true that the DNC and Clinton paid for the Fusion GPS work from that time

Rather than being fake, almost all of it has been proven true or mostly true. trump claimed noone had met with russians when we know at least 16 of team trump have over 100 meetings with russian contacts
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/12/10/politics/donald...

You forgot to mention that the FBI investigation started because Papadopolous got drunk and boasted to an australian diplomat that Russia had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton who quite rightly reported it. The Steele dossier came into the FBI's hands much later after several investigations were already underway.

As for your claim of an illegal FISA warrant, the FBI released the 412 page application, including the original October 2016 request to wiretap Page and multiple renewal applications, quite extensively pointing out why they wanted to monitor Carter Page and were repeatedly given these powers. If you'd have read the applications you'd see the FBI provided evidence that Page “has been collaborating with and conspiring with the Russian government” and said Russia’s efforts were being coordinated with Page and “perhaps other individuals associated with” the Trump campaign.

As for Susan Rice being told to stand down, thats not true either, they were told not to engage in retaliatory actions, they were going to dump dirt about Putin across social media etc
It didn't help matters that Trump had started claiming that the only way he could lose the election would be if it were “rigged.”
It is however recognised that in trying to ensure that the elections were seen as fair, as a response to trumps continuous claims, that the Obama team response was poor and wrong decisions were taken. This piece gives a very good detailed explanation of how and why that decision was taken.

So as with trump, everything you stated is wrong, has been twisted. I hope you take the opportunity to read more, to be enlightened, but somehow I don't think thats your intention

Agreed. And Trump's way ahead on issue Number 1, as well as claiming the credit for issue 2.

Highest was 34% for 'other'.
Perhaps most of that was president not being a slimy criminal with low morals!

You need to bone up on Presidential (candidate) quotes.

"The economy, stupid" was the unofficial message used by Clinton's campaign team during the early 90's recession. The point being to answer the poster who asked what its going to take for Trumps popularity to wane. I still don't understand what you mean by "ALMOST". Which Presidential candidate do I need to 'bone up on'?

Did you miss this photo? Showing (in this poll!) that immigration is ahead of the economy. Hence it 'almost being the economy' reference...

Kellyanne Conway said yesterday: "The idea that any of us, and me as a campaign manager, would cheat, steal, lie, cut corners, talk to Russians, was an insult from the beginning."

Hang on -we've testimony that Paul Manafort, Don Jr., Jared Kushner, Rick Gates, Roger Stone, Erik Prince, Michael Cohen, Papdopolous etc all talked to russans. 16 of team trump had around 100 contacts/meetings.

In the case of Trump supporters - if they hear something often enough, they assume it to be “Fact”...like “Mexico paying for the Wall”

Lyndsey Graham told reporters yesterday that Barr is going to let the Trump White House redact any parts of the Mueller report that it considers to be covered under executive privilege, and then release it. Obvously thats not acceptable as trump will just redact any unfavourable bits.

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/03/26/graham-b...

Then an hour later an 'unnamed DOJ Official' ": Moments ago, a justice department official telling NBC News it will take 'weeks not months' for Barr to make a version of Mueller's original report public... There are no plans to give a copy of that report to the White House ahead of that public release..."
