Despite Barrs insistence that trump. Operated fully with the trump investigation, Trump didn't respond to several questions Mueller asked about contacts with Russia, including about the Flynn-Kislyak calls, the Erik Prince Seychelles meeting, and Kushner establishing backchannel communications with the Russian government

Toward the end of William Barr’s Senate testimony, when Amy Klobuchar asked him if Robert Mueller had obtained Donald Trump’s tax returns, Barr simply said “ask Bob Mueller when he comes here.”

Klobuchar has taken that as Barr giving permission to ask Mueller so has written a letter directly to Robert Mueller, asking him if he had obtained Trump’s tax returns, and asking him to turn them over if he has them.

Expect more of this as an unchecked trump now uses the DOJ to run investigations into anyone thinking of running against him

Trump not paying bills, again

The Trump campaign has not paid the city of El Paso the more than $470,000 it was billed for the costs stemming from a rally there two months ago. The bill includes a $380,942 charge from the police department

The big question here, May 2019, is can Sleepy Joe Biden give Trump a kicking in 2020.

No other democrat candidate is worth considering, they have fallen for Trump going so one way to go the other. Fail.

It needs something more in the middle. Biden is that.

Trump calls him Sleepy as he cannot quite call him as creepy like the media do because of Trumps own past misdemeanours , but you get the intention.

If under pressure Trump might go really extreme. Biden if just seeming like a Joe Public might capitalise on that.

The problem with this is that it is digging up dirt against a man who is providing pay dirt for the majority of americans.

As Queen once wrote, "It is a tricky situation"

Bidens definately got to trump, he's carried on attacking him. He doesn't like it that the firefighters have backed Biden, saying they love him instead

Trumpettes have created a Facebook group that claims to consist of IAFF members who support Trump, as a response to but it's been suggested that most of the members are simply Trump fans who joined in order to pad the member count. This comes after Trump posted more than sixty retweets on Twitter in athree ours the other day, all against the IAFF’s decision to endorse Biden.

Trump had another call with Putin, didn't discuss the upcoming election or the russians interference. According to Tass it was 90 minutes and initiated by trump. Sanders tried to spin it and failed

http://tass.com/world/1056870

NBC's Kristen Welker: "Mr. President, did you tell [Putin] not to meddle in the next election?"
Trump: "Excuse me, I'm talking. I'm answering his question. You are very rude."
Trump, pressed again, says he didn't discuss it with Putin.

I believe they are separate and so trump should fear them more, which is probably why he's doing his best to shutdown/obstruct as many investigations he can have some control of through Barr

This is an interesting article, explaining why Mueller may have been restricted (beyond Barr/Rosenstein)
Special Counsel Robert Mueller concluded that he was constitutionally prohibited from finding that President Trump committed a crime, regardless of evidence. Paul Weiss partner Lorin L. Reisner says based on that determination, Mueller could only exonerate the president or abstain from reaching a conclusion, which means Attorney General William Barr’s letter to Congress included serious falsehoods.

Rachel Maddow on her show last night said that Deutsche Bank has Trump’s tax returns and trump’s lawsuit to not have them revealed is to go before a judge on May 22nd. If the judge grant’s Trump’s request for an injunction, the bank’s cooperation with Congress will be held up while the legal process plays out in court. But if the judge denies Trump’s injunction, Deutsche Bank can immediately turn over Trump’s tax returns to House Democrats. Maddow said that legal experts all seem to think that the judge will rule against Trump.
