McGahn quit the WH because he didn't want to commit unlawful acts.

I don't think he has a problem appearing.

Hopefully he's just paying lip service to Trumps order not to appear, by his initial refusal, and will appear as instructed now.

He's Chief Justice of the DC Circuit court where the appeal will go. Whether he'll actually sit in judgement or not I'm not sure. Either way I assume it'll end up at the Supreme court one way or another, but this isn't exactly my field

I hope he hears it, but if it gets to SCOTUS,no doubt Kavanaugh (& probably the other conservative justices) will say it was a partisan decision. Which would be the pot Calling the kettle black!

The House Judiciary Committee is still holding the hearing this morning where Don McGahn was expected to testify.

Chairman Nadler told CNN last night that if McGahn doesn't show, the first thing the Committee would do is hold McGahn in contempt.
