YOu mean, they're not?! hehe
They don’t even have the vans let alone the officers to crew them

Or drive them because most young cops don’t have C1 and D1 licences and the forces are relying on older cops because they can’t affird the training .. and they are retiring/leaving in droves

Ha ha ha ha ha.

The ones with the energy will be the younger Millenials. Most of them are remainers.

If you want to join the red faced ranks of middle aged gammons then go for it. You’ll be backed up by a squadron of mobility scooters.

This country will revert to its apathetic ways pretty quickly.

Anyway. Brexit isn’t cancelled yet.

The killer:

"Thomas Alexander Mair, a 52-year-old unemployed gardener born in Scotland, had a long history of mental health problems. He believed individuals of liberal and left-wing political viewpoints, and the mainstream media, were the cause of the world's problems. He targeted Cox, a "passionate defender" of the European Union and immigration, because he saw her as "one of 'the collaborators' and a traitor" to white people"

What was his account name on PH?

Full warning that this is a Katie Hopkins tweet, but the attached video appears to show police taking their helmets off and not acting against the demonstrators. If Macron can't count on the Police, then what?

Bon Chance to the French people campaigning for their freedom.

The British will stop funding the EU soon, though our French friends can also leave if they do not support their bureaucratic leaders.

LOL so much nosense in that one post it's unbelievable; understanding history of France, your own imperialistic little Isle and it's politics, the EU, etc.etc.etc.

It's amazing.

By the way the rest of Europe, especially Northren Europe, hope the French will leave the EU as well.

Nobody will miss that non functioning, semi-communist state.

The sooner Brexit cancelled the better.

Frothy mouthed Brexit types in reality are older keyboard warriors conditioned by the Daily Mail and Daily Express to get angry when they need to stand in line for their pension, because someone with a different skin colour is ahead of them.

They won’t be on the streets.

100,000 views per hour .

That should be on the BBC news.

Police snipers positioned on rooftops, firemen and Police refusing to take orders, Macron jeered in the streets on his walkabout and police brutality going viral on the internet.

Given that its going to be a short stay for him and his mother (oh sorry wife) in the Elysee Palace the new 500,000 Euros dinner service, the new 300,000 Euro carpet and the new swimming pool seems like a bit of an indulgence.

He and his party will get crucified in the European elections.

Cheers,

Tony

Although 'younger' people votes to remain generally at the ages between 18 - 44 there are still a sizeable number of young people - enough to cause a riot I suspect.

Also as we know from the London riots, it only takes a few to ge tteh party started an all sorts of people will join in for different reasons.

funny you should say that wellycopter... seems like your wannabe superstate is actually no better (if not outright worse than the UK) . There are quite a few studies showing the UK as being one of most tolerant countries (still not perfect)...

Time and again, France demonstrate it is barely a first rate economy. The place is lovely, the people are, mostly, very nice too and it has an admirable culture, and yet there is something highly corrosive about society as a whole.

I honestly believe the revolution created a void - command, control, authority - that has never since been filled. The country lurches from one crisis to another and strikes routinely disrupt whatever parts of the pan EU and global transport networks the country touches - there is no way the tunnel should ever have been built to arrive in Calais (but then the security issues with Belgium probably ruled them out too).

Thankyou for your reply, you are entitled not to share the sentiment.
The word in English though is nonsense not 'nosense'.
With respect though my comment did make sense in that it means:
"Good luck to the French people campaigning for their freedom."

I apologise if the second comment was 'off-topic' but logically we are in agreement that maybe the French will leave the EU if they are not content.
