I know you’ve said you haven’t read MSM for 4yrs but you should try it. The BBC are literally reporting the thing you say they’re not reporting. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-46788751
Are you Dinoit.. or DIM oit.... I know it's a little difficult reading and taking in facts but this has been covered and it's 4 MONTHS not years... DiM oit. Try BBC UK... and Oh what a surprise absolutely nothing.
Step back everyone. I’ll give it a try.

France is not in the UK. News of developments in France are significantly more likely to feature within the Europe section of the BBC News webpages than in the UK pages.

Your talk of D notices is preposterous. You are making yourself look foolish and ridiculous.

If you are dicking around and just pretending to be this silly could you please stop? It’s tiresome. If you genuinely are this silly would you mind awfully spending even less time on PH? For the greater good. Thanks.

Alfie - that's the problem chap - it's not "UK" news but "Europe" news - therefore it's being hidden from the British Public as a result of a D notice served by the Government on the BBC in the interests of national security.

If you can't understand that then there is no hope for us all biggrin

1 I am not a Remaoner

2. Why would French news be under the UK heading on BBC and not the Europe one?

You are of course aware that quite a large number of the PH'rs who have responded to you in this thread actually voted Leave

Fortunately it doesn't mean they have taken leave of their senses wink

You said reporting on the BBC about events in the UK or France:

Edited : I've just located where I had read it Quote "Confirmation the government has served D Notice on @BBCNews ordering them not to report anything re Yellow Vests in UK or France. BBC meekly comply's with this blatant censorship. Clear proof the UK is now a totalitarian POLICE STATE. Share far and wide."
Multiple threads talking about it....
Alfie's link is reporting on the BBC site (bbc.co.uk no less) and is about France.

Makes you wonder what point there is to a "D-notice" on the BBC when other UK MSM can post things like this:

https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1058975/yellow-v...
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/7987616/yellow-vest-...

etc

Even this (a bit half hearted I grant you) : https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-europe-4656218...

I don't see this gaining a head of steam here though. We simply don't do protesting like the French smile (Or at least we haven't for nearly 20yrs...maybe now is the time to have another go after all smile).

Ahh but all those links were before the Government served it's D Notice on the Media (or BBC)

I'm confused as to why you think the government was to suppress the reporting of the French riots. What will it do, apart from take attention away from brexit. You seem to be suggesting that twitter is a reliable source of news. I'm not sure that's correct.

Why do you think hundreds of thousands are going to hit the streets?

Historically, the UK hasn't been that bothered by what has happened on the continent. Any online news gets a low level of hits. No one is interested. It is, I think, reprehensible, but it's what happens. They need hits so they ignore what their readers ignore.

Back in the late 60s there were real riots in France, almost a revolution, not like the amateur rent-a-mob they've got now. It went largely unnoticed this side of the pond, despite it being in all the papers. You could not have a conversation about it because no one cared. There was orchestrated mobbery, but it was half-hearted. Once the film of the Grosvenor Square attack on the police was seen, the public went against the rioters, regarding is as cowardly and really not British at all.
When you get to eleven dead and 120,000 police with armoured cars on the streets FOR EIGHT WEEKS its not a "Real riot" ?.
There are protests in Belgium , Germany, and the Netherlands not being covered. Part of London was brought to a standstill over the week-end*, see that on the BBC did you?.

You can only carry ignorance so far, people are sticking live video on twitter and youtube that shows whats going on. Hundreds, if not thousands of people, have been de-platformed from twitter/facebook/youtube in the last three months, the truth is getting out anyway.

Very specifically, which parts of London?

What’s happened on PH in the last 48 hours? A (small) number of odd but long registered PHers have started posting all sorts of oddness.

"Where We Go One We Go All.
Sometimes Q will end his post with WW1WGA. It’s a signal not to give up and keep fighting for the truth."

From a cursory glance, it seems that "Q" 'leaks' information, and if you're a follower you're a "Qanon" which is defined as -

"Someone who believes in the QAnon conspiracy theory, which started on 4chan, that the Deep State is determined to undermine the presidency of Donald J. Trump. Also, proof that the human race is doomed."

or

"An intellectual force combating the sludge that has infiltrated and infected the politics and people of Washington D.C.

Enjoy the show."

So, yeah, wibble hehe

"Where We Go 1 We Go All" - it's a Q Anon thing.

Which probably explains the volume of bullst posted by that user recently.

French Gov. announce plans to pass a law to make attending unauthorised protests a criminal offence ….

RTE said:
Seven weeks into the protests marked by weekly clashes in Paris and other French cities, Mr Philippe said the government would introduce a "new law punishing those who do not respect the requirement to declare (protests), those who take part in unauthorised demonstrations and those who arrive at demonstrations wearing face masks."

Not sure this will either end well or have the desired outcome...
