What’s happened on PH in the last 48 hours? A (small) number of odd but long registered PHers have started posting all sorts of oddness.
This. 100% ^^^^It is interesting that on Guido today, there were a massive amount of replies to their Soubry thread using some of the same language that was used on here yesterday; Quisling, traitor, and the like. Plus comments about "thousands storming the streets in their yellow jackets to take back control,", "You won't believe what's coming soon," and the like. With the reports here of people here having their passwords compromised it does make you wonder
Personally speaking, I have been knocking around this site for a long time now and I can never remember seeing some of the totally outrageous nonsense and vitriol that was posted here last night on various threads.
I feel a tiny bit more stupid for reading the bks spouted on here.
Yes I know the media doesn't report everything but there's so much media and so much going on it's impossible to keep up with it.
It's very hard to cover up the yellow vest protests and they've been well reported IMO. The conspiracy lot must have a great time making up facts that fit their world view before sharing them as real news.
Utter fruit cakes.

Then your opinion is wrong ;0). The media has already been caught out by reporting it was a "Fuel tax" protest, did it stop when the French government announced they would scrap it ?. They have had enough of their government following the globalist agenda at the expense of the people.Yes I know the media doesn't report everything but there's so much media and so much going on it's impossible to keep up with it.

The facts are all over social media, the last eight weeks of street protests are documented by video`s showing numbers, and just who is kicking off the trouble (The police). Now its round up the leaders and ban demonstration time, if you think that will stop it, your`e the fruit cake.
The British media has been selectively "Reporting" for a long time, either no mention or a down play of numbers on demonstrations here and abroad on any cause not on their approved agenda.
Time will tell ;0)
Self styled leader of the British yellow vest movement, James Goddard, has been kicked off Facebook.
He was one of those arrested on Westminster Bridge recently and was involved in the Anna Soubry confrontation.
Here's an example of his interactions with the police

Got to admire his passion for making war on a weekend....."you wanna a war? I'll give you a war!...Every Saturday"

Isn't that like boycotting BP or Shell for fuel.........I wonder how much of a banks assets are in current accounts these days?

Probably as likely to happen, but you need to buy your fuel from somewhere, wheras your savings can be reduced to just enough to cover d/d's.

I would imagine enough to at least cause the banks a few headaches having to move large sums around to branches, if people then paid cash instead of using bank cards, they would lose any fee they charge the seller. It s not going to bring the banks down, but if its widespread it could effect the banks profits, plus people might just get used to cash again, now that would piss on their chips. I wonder how much of a banks assets are in current accounts these days?

Interesting that it will coincide with a protest at the Rothchilds bank in Lyon tomorrow....Paris running alive with anti-semite muslims. It's the jews fault.
Price of fuel going up.
It's the jews fault.
The weather's awful.
It's the jews fault.

So this seems a new and interesting tactic.
If this is real and say enough did this somebody is going to start getting very twitchy.

Genius idea and pretty scary if it catches on. Believe cash available at banks is low single figures of total assets? Someone on here will know correct scenario. If this is real and say enough did this somebody is going to start getting very twitchy.

Back to the proposition. Uses the system to kill the system and its political masters. All legal as well and mobilises supporters who will not protest in streets. Interesting times.
Edit: By cash I mean money available for withdrawal under fractional reserve system.

Meh. How many people are really going to go and queue at the electricity company to pay their bill with cash? Ditto paying their mortgage/ car lease etc. Most firms will just refuse to pay cash wages anymore as well.
I spent almost two years in Japan without a bank account (using cash only) but that was back in the 90s when Japan was still very much a cash society (most places didn’t take credit cards) so it is possible. Only time it was a pain was paying tax. But i could pay utilities just by scanning the bill at a convenience store and paying them cash.

If the French stopped using cheques and used cash instead I am sure the banks would sit up and take notice.
I think you will find that the French don’t use cheques any more that the English. Credit Cards/ Direct Debit Cheques are expensive for banks to process - they would probably sit up more if people stopped using cash and wrote lots of cheques instead.
