Of course I don't know how many follow news outside of the UK but if you don't it's going to smash you in the face.
Just to mention a few.... Brussels,Austria,Sweden,Denmark,Greece,Hungary,Poland,Italy,Australia,Canada,USA, Germany and many more.
Germany didn't loose the war they just redirected their plan.. Germany controls the EU,as we speak Merkel( Check out her bloodline) is in Greece telling them how to run their country. Telling us the UK give up your Sovereignty and build an EU army to possible fight America (our allies)

And then the Immigration pact to let free movement of anymore unchecked to go where ever they like. Canada did a survey (a big one) and the people of Canada 94% didn't want it yet it was passed as the same for us as it wasn't put to us.

As I said this morning this now is moving away from the topic,it may of opened some eyes, some may look into it and laugh it off,I seriously don't care.

But for those that laugh it off I ask did you laugh off 911 twin towers building 7 conspiracy which is now in the proceeds of investigation. If you haven't looked for many years check out YT on all the evidence and then check out all the other countries mentioned as see what is happening.

EDIT : For those they may of had a quick 5-10 mins look and thought conspiracy nut jobs, then I would question any judgement/decisions you make in life. If you were going to invest in multi million pound investment would you spend 5-10 mins. If you are one of these if our paths cross then I wouldn't give you the time of day, move along as we have nothing in common.

I'm generally impressed that people read books such as this and I confess it's probably/it is way over my head. I don't have 10 "A" levels or a Masters in anything and the vast intelligence you need to absorb figures and how it all works is way above me and I'm sure as hell am never going to get into a discussion with you over such a topic, you are obviously well more knowledgeable in this field than I. (That's enough of blowing your trumpet)
But I don't regard myself as an idiot either(Debatable I hear you say) and if I really need to know something then I'll look into and research, but economics and the numbers game is something that I find very difficult.
I read some of the comments/views on the book but again at a 1st glance I really can't figure it out.

Edited by TVRJAS on Thursday 10th January 13:04
No qualifications needed to read the book. The author is hugely well qualified to comment - well worth reading the preface which details his background.

Only part way into it, so not sure how good a read (or not) it is.
The trouble I have and I'm sure I'm not alone. If someone has a little more knowledge than me, and presents it well, I accept the reasoning. So I tend to cling to one or two absolute facts and base my opinions and decisions on these.

I will consult and engage professionals, by and large trusting them until they prove otherwise.
Well by that logic, let me tell you what Wikki says about Martin Wolf, the author of the book I refer to:

Wikki said:
In 1971, Wolf joined the World Bank's young professionals programme, becoming a senior economist in 1974. By the start of the eighties, Wolf was deeply disillusioned with the Bank's policies undertaken under the direction of Robert McNamara: the Bank had been strongly pushing for increased capital flows to developing countries, which had resulted in many of them suffering debt crises by the early 1980s. Seeing the results of misjudged intervention by global authorities and also influenced from the early 1970s by various works critical of government intervention, such as Friedrich Hayek's The Road to Serfdom, Wolf shifted his views towards the right and the free market.[1][2]

Wolf left the World Bank in 1981, to become Director of Studies at the Trade Policy Research Centre, in London. He joined the Financial Times in 1987, where he has been associate editor since 1990 and chief economics commentator since 1996. Up until the late 2000s, Wolf was an influential advocate of globalisation and the free market.
Wolf at the World Economic Forum in 2013.

In addition to his journalism and participation in various international forums, Wolf had also attempted to influence opinion with his books; he has stated that his 2004 book, Why Globalization Works, was intended to be a persuasive work rather than an academic study.[2] By 2008, Wolf had become disillusioned with theories promoting what he came to see excessive reliance on the private sector. While remaining a pragmatist free of binding commitments to any one ideology, Wolf's views partially shifted away from free market thinking back to the Keynesian ideas he had been taught when young.

He became one of the more influential drivers of the 2008–2009 Keynesian resurgence, and in late 2008 and early 2009, he used his platform on the Financial Times to advocate a massive fiscal and monetary response to the financial crisis of 2007–2010. According to Julia Ioffe writing in 2009 for The New Republic, he was "arguably the most widely trusted pundit" of the crisis.[1] Wolf is a supporter of a land value tax.[4]

Between 2010 and 2011, Wolf served on the Independent Commission on Banking.

In 2012, Wolf stated in remarks for the Financial Times that public goods are building blocks of civilisation: security and safety, knowledge and science, a sustainable environment, trust, the Rechtsstaat, and economic and financial stability.[5]

Check out the latest from Nasa..... Did you know that their space suits were not radioactive proof.. All this is researched and with all the latest YT threads all this is made clear, the materials of the space craft is proven impossible with out blowing up. I had mixed views myself, looked many years ago and thought then something doesn't seem right. Then I went away from because I actually thought do I care, but now I do and all the latest news tells me they didn't but if you think they did that is your choice and you are totally entitled to have this.

We may of been there.... but not these guys, but that's another story. wink

Yes OK doctor I'm coming.....

Will you kindly post links to what you consider to be the best YT videos concerning the moon landings and 911, since being able to think for myself and read articles with an open mind I have never believed the moon landings took place

Thank you in advance

Careful that could be seen as conspiracy to commit a crime
But yes!
They know how to keep the public on side these protestors I mean who is going to give a fk about that
Apart from the interior minister who thinks the action 'a threat to road safety and put lives in danger.'
When we were there in November the queue to exit the Peage in Calais was horrendous but at least we didn't have to pay the toll!

I clicked on here to see if there was any new news on yellow vest uprisings but it's just a load of rubbish for about 100 posts.

My upcoming road trip to NL will not be spoilt by the French !

From that link:

"Members of the "yellow vests" protest movement have vandalised almost 60% of France's entire speed camera network, the interior minister has said.

Christophe Castaner said the wilful damage was a threat to road safety and put lives in danger."

With them out of action, it seems like an excellent opportunity has presented itself to acquire some hard data showing whether or not speed cameras improve road safety and save lives...

I will have to do some digging as I've got many many topics on this and my history storage is huge so please be patient with me if it takes a bit of locating and check your junk box... I won't post on here but if you are happy for me to PM then just give me a thumbs up of approval. I've not only watched video's but done a lot of reading of various multiple sites but those would be more difficult to locate as I clear my catches regularly.
But clearly people should research and come to their own conclusions,I have and I have made my decision, some have completely different view. Maybe in time it will all come clear and I can put my hands up and say " Well blow me I got that wrong" or some can say blimey tvrjas you got that one right. No anger,no putting people down just simply.. see I told you so.

I really hope you have a nice trip.... You do know yellow vests are in NL right... if you don't then YT search Netherlands protests, although I'm sure you will be fine,it's more so in Belgium.

And I presume this is what the thread started out as to maybe guide people and I'm sorry for the thread going off track... it was not intended on my part... and there is no sarcasm in my post,I really hope you have a trouble free journey without delays. My Brother was in France about 6 weeks ago and had No problems, well the odd thing but all manageable.

Remember... someone's Rubbish is someone's Gold.

Yep, around us there isn't a single working speed camera, they are either covered in black plastic, sprayed black or burnt to a cinder. A report in the local rag says that it will cost something like 50k€ per destroyed camera and those that have had the glass smashed/sprayed or scratched to bu**ery will cost more than €500 to replace just the glass. One local camera was vandalised, replaced, vandalised again, replaced again but now it's been done again and they've just covered it up in yellow plastic with warning signs saying that anyone vandalising it will be subject to a €5000 fine and/or imprisonment.

They told me they went to the moon. But they would say that wouldn’t they?

Thanks for opening our eyes. Weird that you’d do it on a car forum rather than showing your evidence to the rest of the world but we’re thankful nevertheless.

I'm smiling.... It's not my evidence,it's some really clever guys who point to facts and explanations. There is tons of stuff on YT always has been on both sides of the coin. You look, you read any make your own judgments. Maybe they did go and the various experts I've looked at don't know what their talking about. But when I see it's impossible for the craft to get past Thermosphere which is before Exosphere I kind of have to scratch my head and get a splinter. If anyone can lead me to info where they say it can then I'm all ears.
It's not difficult to search this kind of stuff and the more you search the algorithms direct you. They say there is a lot of censorship but I have to say for me YT throws up stuff for me now that I would never probably of found. (But I've been doing this for a long time)

This is really heading away from yellow vests, but I was looking into the pyramids and ancient History and now my YT has several links on this. I'm all over the place and I simply can't remember all the stuff I'm cramming in... But it's fun.

I'm driving past my burnt out local one every day at the required 80klmph as I'm worrying that it's been fixed while I'm at work during the day!

I think the yellow vest protesters are going to up thier game in major towns.
